I was skimming through the stations this morning and it appears that yet another NEW station has emerged on the NEW YORK airwaves!

They were playing FREESTYLE today like it was going out of style! the format is identical to KTU.

ok, if your asking "what songs did they play?" well, i had it on when they were in the middle of THE COVERGIRLS "MY HEART SKIPS A BEAT" then they broke into some NAS song then they played TKA'S "MARIA"! (no, it wasnt a MIX, either!!)

they played more freestyle throughout the afternoon.

Freestylepete, That may explain it BUT they seem to be advertising for many businesses in Nassau & Suffolk county. PLUS they play FREESTYLE!!! (THEY DO OFFER AN UPSTATE # TO CALL)

Come on, when was the last time you heard a freestyle song, then a top 10 song then another freestyle song?

Decent mix of dj's that grew up listening to the music. The station sponsored TKA last Friday at the loft.......the night I had Lisetee Melendez.

Thanks for the positive comment about this radio station....I am a mix show and on-air DJ at the station....It's K104.7(which broadcasts throughout 5 states and now we simulcast with K107.1 which goes throughout NYC, NJ, Strong Island, Staten Island, Connecticut, etc)
I'm on this and every Wednesday at 8:30pm and I rock FREESTYLE also again at 10:30om....
I would be happy to play any classic freestyle record for any member on this board.....just IM me or email me..

ALSO: I have a dance remix of "In Paradise" by Laissez Faire that I have done which the radio station is rockin'......call and request it along with all the other freestyle jamz!!!!

U guys are right......watch out to the other stations....Paulie Feva's Freestytle TAKEOVER is about to explode....

The boyz from ***** Records are on the phone with me all the time. I am in the middle of working out details to show-case freestyle artists in a consistant manner. I did huge shows in the early 90's featuring Lisette Melendez, Coro, 2 Without Hats, ect.....etc.....

As you know, I am owner of Only At Night Records which is a subsidiary of my entertainment company, Only At Night Entertainment, Inc. We finally found a recording artist after 4 auditions; female, from the city of Poughkeepsie. And get this.........16 years old, AND LOVES THE FREESTYLE SOUND! LOLOLOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!
