I really liked this film, they made revenge sweet.Jane Fonda & Jennifer Lopez have alot of chemistry-loved every scene they were in together, I plan to watch this film again with co-workers next week.The film was alot funnier than I thaught.Definitly a feel good, cute film.Thumps up for me.
 
I saw it ...was GREAT! Jane Fonda was awesome.....JLO was ok but I think Kate Hudson should have played her part. The movie was cute .....

That's great news!!!I was worried for a moment because me & my mom went to watch it on sat around 5:00pm and hardly no one was there, than all of a sudden people came in at the last minute.I think people go to the movies late at night or the theatre in the next town because their seating is so much more comfortable,than the theatre we were at.Anywayz it was such a cute film, my mom said, she wouldn't mind seeing it again with her neighboor friends.
 
Well im gonna go see it today...i did think the previews were funny...i think
she does good believable roles...serious ones, like 'enough' or romantic comedys like this one..😉
 
Jen's next films are "Unfinished Life" with Robert Redford & Morgan Freeman, being released during oscar nomination season, which is a drama.Than Jen's off to mexico in the true story of slaying's in mexico,in Gregory Navas "Border Town" which is a serious dramatic film."Monster in Law" is her last romantic comedy so far, but it works for her-so eventually she will be back.But it seems that Jen's back to Dramatic roles like in her "SELENA"/"OUT OF SIGHT" days.Which I do misss, I love watching her in "Angel Eyes" she's so good in that film, I wished it better in the theatres.

and funny..Wanda Sykes...was amusing..and
Michael Vartan was good and fineee!
 
Sounds like J-Lo and J-Fo have a hit. At least for this week. With the new Star Wars movie opened now, everyone will go to see that one.
 
Hopefully "Monster In Law" stays in the Top 5.This weekend I will watch it again with co-workers.There will be "Star Wars" mania that weekend,if "Monster in Law" gets the number #2 spot it still will be a big hit.
 
Well I know this is an old thread but I finally saw the movie, and didn't want to make a new thread on it...


Well I rented it this weekend...and I had really wanted to see it at the theaters but wasn't able to...wasn't what I expected. There are some funny parts but I dunno it didn't seem realistic at all, Jennifer Lopez didn't really make her role believable, like she didn't click with it (hard to explain)...Not what I thought at all, glad I didn't see it at the theaters..
