BRKLYNGAL, someone did mention about the beginning of survivor as sounding LIKE freestyle. I don't like Modjo's song. It's irritating, like Alex said, and I'm sick of it. lolll. Def. no freestyle vibes there. But I understand you Jack -- you get a nice feeling from listening to that song. I gotcha.

NO WAY IN HELL!!! That song SUX first of all. Sekondit'z just the same damn thing over & over again. the beat iz boring the Synth iz anoyning & the bass line iz... well that sux too.
 
My favorite song for like the past 2 months is "Lady". That and "No More" by 3LW. Neither are Freestyle.

I've always liked Disco. So naturally, I like Disco House. My favorite Disco song is probably "Could It Be Magic" by Donna Summer, the Barry Manilow remake. If you listen to THAT song, it gives me the Freestyle vibe that Jack is probably talking about. It has that emotional feel to it, but it makes you wanna move.
 
I dunno.. because i dont feel the "freestyle" in that song.... but i guess everyone has their own definitions of freestyle
 
The first time i heard this song i was working at the Gap, and they had it on their cd. I must of heard that some billions of times and i hated it at first. But then, It grew on me and now I love it. It has a Disco type flavor to it. But as far as it sounding a lil like Freestyle, Hell No!!!

Jack bebe, I'm with you on this one. Yes it is a disco-house song,

BUT

It does give a freestyle feeling. That feeling Jack is talking about is when the song touches your soul. It gives you this etheral feeling. It's that feel good, wanna just close your eyes and let the music move you. Anyone who loves freestyle knows that feeling.

Chill mode. That "Lady" does make me happy and laid back. But to say that it gives me the same feeling as Freestyle is wrong. Freestyle is not "chillin'" to me. That's my take on it.

Hey Jack,

Check out "Don't Give Up" by Chicane. That song has a nice vibe to it. It sounds chillin' for the first minute (Radio Version), then it switches to a slight Freestyl-ish mood.
