Mix show

Hey mix show peeps I am interested in starting one on live 365 (a thank you Jack) but got wierded out on the application due to copyright questions..... If I recorded a mixed segment I own the arrangement recording and/but not the copyrights of the material that is in the recoding. So its ok to do this or will the RIAA come after me cause I want to broadcast a freestyle mix show:confused

if the RIAA comes after you for simply Exposing freestyle on a radio station (no downloads) then Freestyle will really be fked.

I don't think you have to worry though. But still look into the matter and let us know.

Around a year or so ago Pete McCormick of phatmix.com Had to stop promoting mixes cause he never recieved permission from the Artist and lables to use the copywritten material.
I don't know if he's still around but maybe he can answer your question

Chuck D has a freestyle station on Live365. Maybe he might be able to answer your question.

thanks i'll try chuck D..........that phat mix didnt exist when i checked it out
