Sup everyone.I'm listening to party931.com out of miami and they are mixing house and freestyle classics.I just heard who's got your love the florida bass version!

shit thats old news i have been listening to them for over 2 years and posting about them.

Good for u....want a cookie now? Or a biscocho?

Anyhow they have been playing alot of nyasia'smusic lately.Much more than KTU ever did.

i wish ktu would follow in the footsteps of party 93 i think it will give the whole tri state a brand new vibe on life!!!

the reason is that ktu plays what it plays is because there marketing reasrch says it will not do well here that is how radio stations try to determine what they should play or what they shouldnt it is all about profit and nothing else

party 93.1 just plain sucks. freestyle music was great back when rhythem 98 was there and also power 96 at one time. Pretty soon i will broadcast freestyle music over the internet and take all of you way back. Its just a matter of time. For now the only one that plays the classics is Ramon Hernandez on the lunch time mix on salsa 98.3. Unfortunately freestyle music doesn't bring high ratings to radio stations these days so we have to settle for a few songs here and there. thats it for now.

no way i love party 93.1 they play the hottest dance & trance tracks. power stopped playing it as much so there is no other station like them in miami. i give them mad props for representin' dance music in south florida.

That station won't last another year... We used to have a station like that in Cali about 3 years and they decied to change it on us.

It has been going strong for almost 3 years now. Like it says, the power just went off and da party just started! www.party931.com

I give them major prompts for playing freestyle in all its forms on the air: breaks, electro, 2 step, planet rock, breakbeat and the classic old school hearthrob sounds.

idk i think if ktu switched to that format it will do real well there alot of people up here that like real dance music..i dont mind the disco but for everything else they got z100 already...ktu i think would succeed if it was all dance!!

I am frequent lurker, I don't post much, been a freestyle fan since the beginning. I listen to Party 93.1 all the time and is it just me or are they playing more freestyle now? They are playing more obscure stuff, playing Set It Off right now. Seems that are mixing a little more freestyle into the regular rotation which is very nice to see. Just wanted to see if others thought the same was happening?
The Classic Dance and Freestyle mix at noon everyday is fantastic.

Yeah, I was in Maimi yesterday coming back from a few meetings and around 12:30pm I heard on 93.1, "The Dance/Freestyle Lunch Hour" program. It was good. They played from Lil Suzy, Stacy Q, Judy Torres, George Lamond, TKA to old school electro joints and then some new stuff like lasgo, delerium, etc!! Its a pretty good station

I wonder if Power 96 in Miami still plays any booty bass or freestyle at all in their mix shows or if they just decided to drop Jonny Z, Dj laz, El Presidente and all those people? Here in Az., it's either hip hop or rock, but no booty bass or freestyle (with exception to energy 92.7 playing dance music and songs by Jocelyn). I will still never get over 103.9 Arizona's Party Station!.... which no longer exists! It used to be Power 92, 103.9, and 104,7 kissFM, but of course 103.9 got bought out - which I guess serves the program director right because he kept changing his mind about the format and firing people when he went through his old school, then r&b, then hip hop with freestyle and dance in the mix shows, then rock and hip hop, then just rock, then pop, then back to hip hop and added dance and freestyle to their regular playlist fazes, (which all happened between 1996 - 2001) then they were bought out. I wont even mention 104.7 kissFM because I am so mad at them that to me they do not exist. They have been removed off of every radio I have with presets, with exception to the family car where I moved it to the end because they listen to the gay 104.7, but that's o.k. because I usually ride the bus instead with my am/fm discman where I mostly listen to Newstalk 1010 or my c.d.'s. ...... And who has heard of a kissFM station that does slow jams & dedications, every night (except friday and Saturday) at 9:00 p.m.? Who has heard of this? Tucson Arizona has sence because at least their top 40 station 93.7 KRQ plays dance music and DOES NOT do slow jams and dedications. I would even prefer the Baka Boyz Hip Hop master mix show to come back than to have slow jams or Oral Expressions as they like to call it. 103.5 in Canada mixes live from a club - starting on Wednesday Night! - playing a lot of dance. www.z1035.com / www.spgmusic.com - the only problem there is that they dropped their freestyle show so this might mean no more FREESTYLE HEAVEN..... Q100.5 in Atlanta does an entire mix show with dance music (which is on right now if you are reading this right after I posted it) from 9p.m. to 5a.m. on their TOP 40 STATION! www.q100atlanta.com www.955thebeat.comThere is some station from Florida I heard that was TOP 40 and they had different mix shows every night starting from either wednesday or thursday night with trance, breakbeats and stuff like that then when they mixed live from the club it was off the hook. They also had a 2 hour hip hop mix show every night. www.power923.fm 95.5 the beat in Atlanta is also playing dance live from the club every Saturday night, and if you are reading this today, which is Saturday Evening, you can catch the whole thing as you read because it will start pretty soon maybe with hip hop hten slide into house, booty bass, breaks, then house and trance again. In Boston, Kiss 108, ALSO A TOP 40 STATION, is playing some dance. www.kiss108.com or probably www.kissfm.comIn California, I don't know what Wild 94.9 is doing, but that's rhythmic, not top 40. California's 102.7 KIIS fm is playing dance in regular rotation and live from the club with club kiis. www.1027kiisfm.com - is A TOP 40 STATION. here in arizona we have 104.7 kissfm and club kiss, club kiss afterhourz, I don't know what type of top 40 they are trying to be because they are doing too much to be rhythmic, but not enough to be top 40 (and Ican tell you right now that Enrique Iglesias and Jet are not being played) THERE IS NO DANCE MUSIC - NONE WHAT SO EVER because they decided to not add it back to their playlist when they changed back to whatever they are now. www.1047kissfm.com - for those of you that really have nothing to do or are curious to how dumb they gay104.7 is. You can't see the gayness by their website, but their playlist under KISS MUSIC pretty much gives you an idea, and you will see that this isn't really top 40, then your mind may come to the conclusion of thinking, "what is this?" Compare their playlist to the other top 40 station playlists and you will see that it is strange, and I will later on post rhythmic stations websites so you will not go under the false indication that this is rhythmic. 103.9 the party was rhythmic. Kiss fm is not!

I see that party 93.1 plays Dj X. - "I just wanna use your love" which is very unique. I also see that they play Mon A Q and KromOzone Project, but not Angelina and Planet Soul on their regular playlist which is strange - but then again this is Florida so it would be expected that Mon A Q and KromOzone Project would be heard. The one thing we have here on energy 92.7/101.1 that Party 93.1 doesn't have is "why" by Jocelyn Enriquez in regular rotation. We get the regular versions of "it's my life" by No Doubt and "red blooded woman" by Kylie played on Energy which I guess is o.k.
- As of right now I am listening to some dirty south breakbeats, not booty bass, on q100 atlanta. They just played some trance then Lil Jon, Usher, and Jay-Z in breakbeat fashion - Jay-z which is currently playing right now as I type. I need to find stuff like that because that's about the only way I could safely play some dance music in the club a without worrying about people not excepting it here in Az. - or maybe I should try a more sensible club. www.beatmaka.com has some downloadable breaks but not as much as I wish - or is that www.projectargo.com? I guess it's both.
www.mixedmusic.com www.mixeduniverse.com - find your latin house/freestyle/booty bass mix c.d. here - CASA LATINA mixed by LOU ROCK - available now at www.mixedmusic.com also check out www.slammin.com
- O.k., I see that Angelina is played just about as much as Angel City - they must have just added Angel City to their playlist. Is there any station that actually plays L.I.V.?

Power 96 blows! All they play is ghetto stuff now. It's not what it used to be back in the day. Salsa 98.3 is very good with their freestyle lunch time mix. 93.1 plays a lot of freestyle. I am really glad. I love driving down the Palmetto and hearing The Cover Girls come on the radio. So far, Party is doing very well down here in Miami. Hopefully, they stick around.

Ya, that version of "Yeah" was hot, they were playing it all the time for like a week or so, then they never played it again.

Party 93-1 is cool....It's way better than WKTU!:timetopar

:ideaBut Here's an idea, there's a ALL NEW Party Radio station on the web....
