What the hell was Snoop Doog trying to do? He tried to sing "SAD BUT TRUE" talk bout "Bounce ! Bounce!" OMG! Ilike Snoop, but he really killed that song! and he brought some sad lookin Pimp daddy up on stage with him!..LOL! que cojones mas grandes que los timbales de TITO PUENTE!
 
SO far I like Korns performance the best!.lol they knocked that song out! "ONE"

I rarely watch MTV, this was one the few occasions that I did.
 
all i know is corn was good but limpbizquit did a great cover even if their shit is weak!(except 4 faith):lol
 
Limp, Korn, Linkin Park and Rock is who brought ROCK back from it's dog days in the middle 90's.

But all thanks to Metallica, they showed that you can rock hard with out hairspray(in ref to The hairbands of the 80's)
 
I love all thier stuff new old, the stuff that hasn't come out yet!.lol they are truly and indisputable GODS in heavy Metal. I can do without hearing LARS speak, and it's a shame about Jason leaving the band, but the new guy Rob Trujillo kicked ass on that stageeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Limp Bizkit tore it up on stage too. that was a great Icon moment.

I think Avril lavienge (or however you spell that chick name) sucks monkey balls, and she jacked up "Give me Fuel" ughhhhhh! but other than her and snoop dogg looking so out of place the show was awesome. especially when the Masters took to the stage themselves.:fkinaman :fkinaman :fkinaman

I taped it since I was studying for finals, but at 3am when I couldn't sleep I watched it. I agree Avril and Snoop did look so out of place, and I wasn't thrilled with her rendition of "Fuel". I am a huge Metallica fan. I love all their old and new. I am partial to their older stuff, but I still like their new stuff as well. I remember about 4 yrs ago seeing them at Ozzfest. They fukin rocked!!! I'm glad MTV came to their senses and did the icon show for them.
 
peeps u see dont know how old anyone here but i remember seeing metalica in dives like cbgbs and cheers on deer park ave in deep park li goto the days the only way to get there music was to trade

Jason Newsted was the 2nd bass player...replacing Cliff Burton. Robert Trujillo has now replaced Jason.
