taezee said:the reason is because most of us dont think twice about the war all the way over there...all it is at this point is a news breif about how many more poor guys got blown up by another roadside bomb..until war is right here interferring with our daily selfish ..unappreciative me,me me lifestyle it dont mean nothing..until houses in our neighborhoods suddenly get bombs dropped on them it dont mean nothing..until soldiers kick down our front doors and rape our women and kill our children without second thought..until we have no cable TV .. no computer.. no dvds which we americans get so lost in to the point that we have no clue whats going on around our block much less a war thousands of miles away.nor do we care..it dont mean nothing..until water stops running in our homes..until the supermarkets have no food..the liquor stores no more booze..it dont mean nothing...until we are imprisoned in some detainment camp for no crimes commited and treated like animals..it dont mean nothing...until our right to vote is gone until democracy is stomped into the ground to a distant memory...until a foriegn goverment comes in and takes over everything it dont mean nothing..until our bank accounts are frozen our homes burnt to ash.our places of employment craters of ground zero it dont mean nothing.. every U.S soldier that has spilled his blood sadly has done so.... so that we can go about our lives and none of the above means nothing only because our armed forces prevent any of that from becoming a reality...that is our freedom that we enjoy with lives lost..not only do we have that freedom but we live in a country where along with that freedom we can look the other way and not even say thanks for that protection or acknowledge what is being done for us..we are just that spoiled...we put our little yellow magnets on our cars that say 'support our troops" and thats the extent..of gratitude..only in america.....
