My post was gone for this,...i was saying that i was glad that someone posted something about this. I was really looking forward to seeing most of these artists since I had not seen any of them before.

This is not a surprise. I found it very hard to believe that the World Wrestling Federation's nightclub "THE WORLD" (a/k/a WWF New York) would play host to a show featuring Freestyle performances. If you really look at it, a high profile establishment such as THE WORLD would not profit from having such an event take place. Most likely they would lose money on the show. They seem more like a place that would host performances by artists that see heavy rotation on the MTV Networks instead.

Rhoq, hate to burst your "WWF" bubble but you can just about rent out an facility in NYC. It had nothing to do with "not wanting to rent it out", they have rented it out for lesser known occasions. It was a matter of sponsorship, which had NOTHING to do with the club.

i had my bday party at "The World"... it's not this grandoise place like u may think.... lolololl
also... when i was planning the party, i was talking to the promoter who asked me if i was interested in seeing or knew any freestyle acts who could perform there.

Why is that? Sal had a huge success with the turnout a couple of years back at EXIT, so why wouldn't it follow? If he held it there in the future, would you eat your words? Sal has "pull".....alot of it. He can have it just about anywhere he wants.
