well, id like to think hes still out there doing something. i mean i see chris b. still doin his thing so it makes me think that theyre still jammin and you know how these two were back then. mark wrote a book back in 93 about the industry. you should read it sometime.
LAST TIME I SAW HIM WAS ABOUT A YEAR AGO WITH GEORGE LAMOND HERE IN MIAMI. THEY WERE GETTING READY FOR THE LATIN BILLBOARD AWARDS AT THE BEACH. HE IS STILL IN PRODUCTION WITH GEORGE "THE TRUE VOICE" LAMOND. AS FAR AS I KNOW MARK AND CHRIS AREN'T IN WELL-WORKING TERMS, I DONT THINK ITS BEEF BUT JUST BAD WORKING RELATIONSHIPS IN THE PAST.
I HOPE EVERYONE IS STILL SUPPORTING GEORGE & HIS LATIN SALSA PROJECTS. HE NEEDS THE SUPPORT-- SO GO AT IT.
if u guys have dma's focus on freestyle edition from 96 theres a whole interview with chris barbosa and he talks about the real reason that he and mark ligget split.....it didnt seem pretty. it's weird cuz he mentioned that mark was no longer working with george lamond, he had moved on to other projects....check it out if u can, it's a great interview

yeah, i see such hard work and dedication that he puts into his work that its kind of bad that spanish outlets havent completely opened its doors to him yet. but i listen to his G.L. CD everyday. i think its awesome! and im not saying this because im taking any kind of pity on him. its the good stuff he puts out that makes me say shit like this.
