yeah i know it was debbie cole who did all the vocals on "dont make me promises", i never said it wasnt. im just saying that i always seen the original "roses are red"maribel performing "dont make me promises". i even got a live performance of her from the early 90's doing both songs....but yeah i know that wasn't her vocals on that song.

yo Nelson im conufused now, you said no ones ever performed "dont make me promises"since debbie cole did vocals on it, but i saw Maribel at the mic mac show back at hot wheels in miami in 1990 and she did both tracks: "roses are red" and "dont make me promises"......i also got a live show on tape where she is performing both songs from the early 90's....she might not do it now but at the time i remember she was performing it. she is a beautiful girl, Nelson why dont you produce her next freestyle track?? i would love to hear new material from her

Hey, guys: Just to clear some of your confusion, there is only one "Maribell". This is not a copyright name. It is as it appears on my birth certificate. Additionally, I did perform on those mentioned instances, however, using my own live vocals, never lip sinking, nevertheless pretending to be someone else. Unfortunately, due to a time sensitivity issue, although I was present at the WTC event, I was not able to perform : - ( However, some of you may have seen me at the Freestyle Reunion party, where I did indeed perform. I also want to thank so much those of you who have inquiried regarding my whereabouts, those who support and like my music and to those who have made requests about seeing me perform again. And of course, those of you who have complimented my physical appearance and voice. It is an overhelmingly gratifying feeling to know that people still remember me and care, and I can assure you I'm still around, sound and look just the same as ever. I would love to perform again, and of course, also record something new; and will do my best to inquire about and accommodate those requests. In the interim, I just want to let you know that I love each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart and will never forget. Hope this answers out some of your questions and clears out some of your doubts which have mostly stemmed from rumors or misinterpreted information. Muchos besos!!!!! Muah!!!!!

Welcome aboard. Roses are Red has to be one of my favorite freestyle songs ever. I was hoping you'd perform at the KTU Freestyle Factory live shows at Hunka Bunka, but I guess I'll be patient and wait for you to perform elsewhere. I look forward to your next projects and hope to see you live soon.
 
Thank you ever so much. Although I will not perform at the Hunka Bunka party, there is a possibility that I will be attending the event just to see all my old "friends". Hope to see you there!!! Besos....... ;-)

I WAS AT THAT SHOW ALSO.. AS WELL AS THE OTHER MICMAC FS CONCERTS AT HOT WHEELS.. MEMORIES O'MEMORIES... GREAT PERFORMANCES AT THOSE CONCERTS.. I THINK THERE WAS AT LEAST TWO OR THREE MICMAC CONCERTS ANUALLY..
