Tonight's the night!

For all of you Mariah Carey fans, I just wanted to let you know that I'll be sitting 5th row, center, tonight at the Wang Center in Boston for the Mariah Carey concert.

Opening act is Ashanti (hell yeah).

Need I say more?

I'll let you know how it went.

Have Fun Carlito....

I would enjoy Ashanti's show, but I don't think I could sit there and watch Mariah on stage....

Talented, yes... but trashy all the way.

😀

Have fun especially since you are so close to stage and you are obviously a fan!!!

WOW...that's right, I remember you mentioning that in a previous post. Have a fantastic time. Ashanti is da bomb.

SO HOW WAS IT?!?!?!

The show was amazing! That's all I have to say. From her wardrobe, to her angelic voice, to the stage props that were used, the dancers, the band, the back-up singers, EVERYTHING was spectacular.

Her voice is captivating on CD, but to see her perform live was something that I really needed to experience.

She opened up with "Heartbreaker" and walked in from behind the audience, down the center aisle, and worked her way on stage. That's how a performer should make her entrance. Diva? What? To say the least.

She did about a two hour set, taking a 2 minute break in between to change her wardrobe and her hair style. Some highlights of the show were "Heartbreaker", "My All" (both the slow and House version), "Through The Rain", "Fantasy", "Honey", "Dreamlover", "Can't Take That Away", etc.

She covered this song from Def Leppard, it's on Charmbracelett, and I can't think of the song right now but the way she sang it was SO on point that it gave me chills.

She ended with "Hero".

I got a chance to meet her later on in the night. She was eating at this restaurant called Davio's and she signed my album cover.

But I really had a great time at the concert. She really put on an amazing show and she was very interactive with the audience.

WOW CARLITOS sounds like you had an awesome time and like if it was GREAT SHOW!!..and to get to meet her!!!! you go BOY!!!Glad you had a great time~~!!

DID you know that she was going to eat there ? dam BOY you must be a FAN to go see her again and SECOND ROW!!how do you do it!?!

Patty- I'm actually embarassed to admit this because 1) I'm 26 years old and 2) I wouldn't typically do something like this, but after she left the stage door and entered her limo, we immediately hopped a cab and told that dude to follow that limo.

He followed her to Davio's, where she exited the limo, and by that time we were already giving her twelve sunflowers and a pen to sign my album.

Our whole intention was to chill with her and sip some champagne or something, and just talk to her on a personal level. Not as a fan, as a person.

She looks really pretty but I think her face was way too airbrushed or something.

I'm a fan, but a fan of her VOCAL ABILITY. I could care less about her personal life. I just wanted to show that her music is appreciated that's all.

And yeah, I have connections with Ticketmaster!

The Def Leppard song is called "Bringin On The Heartbreak"..I think she did a fantastic cover of it!

Yeah. That's it. But damn, she did a perfect job with that song. I kind of wish I had the live version from last night.

But, yeah, thank's everyone for your posts. It was great. I think she's headed to Europe in a few weeks. If you get a chance to go to the show, go. It'll give you a whole new outlook.
