Maria Venchura "My Heart Holds The Key"

Ok- never even heard of this chick before until I got a copy of her 1 and only single...It's on Jive Records, same as Britney and N'Sync (although back in 1988 it was Samantha Fox, DJ Jazzy Jeff & The Fresh Prince, among others)...What ever happened to this girl? She obviously had enough pull to get her single released by a major label, so what happened?

James, she's got a picture cover on the vinyl. Yeah, she was an obscure freestyle one hit wonder in 1988, on a major record label (ironic huh?)...and that track was slamming. Omar Santana did a great Club and Dub Mix on the flip side of the vinyl. I think Charlie Babie Rosario or Frankie Bones produced that vinyl..I could be wrong about that though. No idea what happened to her, but didnt she have another song, "Now It's Over" but only as "Maria"....but I Could be wrong about that too...
