With Mamas day coming up next weekend what are some of you rmams day gift ideas? What are your special plans for you wives, girlfriends Mothers etc etc. I think I will be heading out to LI and along with my sister and Auntie and mom going to see my grandmother and spending the afternoon with her then dinner and we usually get each other a little something.
 
I'm spending it with my Mom and taking her to dinner. Getting her a gift and making the best of the day.

Me I'm gonna go to NY to meet up with my biatch.

I have to go to my mothers grave. that weekend will make one year she is gone so I'm gonna go take some flowers.

then come home and spend the nite with my kids.

Here's how mother's day goes at the DiGuilio house.

For a month before Mother's day, my Mom tells us not to buy her anything, because she can't make up her mind as to what she wants.

two weeks before mother's day, we decide to go out to eat, but no ideas yet on what to get her.

the week of mother's day, she tells us she still doesn't know. But still don't buy her anything, she may see something she wants.

the day before, we go out and buy cards. She tells us to just give her the gifts on her birthday (May 16th) so she will get twice as many gifts on her bday, and she still doesn't know what she wants.

Mother's day, go out to lunch, buy her lunch for her.

The day after mother's day, she promptly calls all of her friends, to tell them how she got nothing but cards for mother's day.

someone just emailed me, and told me that I should get her a big, gaudy religious statue for Mother's Day.

I replied back....."You're forgeting I come from an Italian family. We've already got a number of gaudy, religious statues in the house. The only way I'd get another is if I could find one that is a fountain, set up to bleed from the hands and eyes."

Lmao @ Chuck...hey im in the same boat..my mom's bday is always
on or 3 days after Mother's Day...my mom is pickie..so she says..
"don't get me anything"...but if u do "get me something i'll like"??
well we're not gonna get her something she won't like..ya know..
either way...we get the flower and treat her to dinner Mom's day..and
then on her bday..we make dinner and get Cake..and gifts..so we try
to cover our basics..lol...this year, i have a Mother in law so she's "ifee"
"are you gonna be w/me or your Mother in law?"..lol only my mother..😉
 
Ok its a week away and I want to get her somethign nice she has been so great she is coming over so I think I will make her dinner instead of her making us dinner like she usually does when she comes over and Probably something to wear she loves getting clothess lol
