Anyone here transfer MP3 from their pc to their cellphone? I just got a Motorola with MP3 capability and I found out I can transfer my own MP3's pictures or video etc with a program utility (Mobile Phone Tools) and a usb data cable.

That would be cool for me to edit a freestyle song and use it on my cell! Song comes to mind is Without You from George Lamond...especially the intro!

Well today I learned how to put any cd track on my cellphone as an mp3! Freakin awesome. I learned how to cut an mp3 file and downsize it and it's audio contents so it won't take up space on the cell. I use 25 seconds for the ring. Anyone here does this? Man people are gonna be asking me at my job where I got Sadeness by Enigma! I managed to cut a nice part of the song. 😀

I'm using Mobile Phone Tools 2.0 with a USB cable and Audacity as the MP3 cutter and Razorlame as the encoder.

I make my own all the time. I don't use the USB connection tho as I've already got too many gadgets hooked up I don't need another. I'll edit the 30 seconds I want, upload it to my site and use my phone's browser capability to find the url and save the download as ringtone. Many more selctions and MUCH cheaper than what Motorola lists.
