I was listening to Madonna's Erotica CD & I have to say that her track 'Thief of Hearts' has a real Freestyle vibe, I think it would sound even more Freestyle is Safrire recorded/sang it. Of course I can be way off but if you get a chance listen to it & let me know what you think. Listen to it from beginning to end.

thanks

:director I'll check it out. I always thought Madonna's productions were somewhat 'Freestyle-ish', if you will. Take into consideration that Jellybean played a HUGE part in her earlier years with her debut album and so forth. She was living in NYC @ the time and that was the sound that solidified her. Jellybean made her a star, and she took off into stardom. "Rescue Me" was rumored to be a Freestyle track and is listed as such on many Freestyle sites.

sorry im a madonna nut & a freestyler i cant relate the 2. theif of hearts is one of my fav tracks on the erotica album.

I never considered Madonna stuff "freestyleish"......I am often surprised that people make that comparison. Most recently, people were saying that about her "Die Another Day" single.

I AM A HUGE MADONNA FAN. MY FIANCE AND I JUST ATTENDED THE NEW CONCERT IT WAS AWESOME. I SAID IT ONCE BEFORE AND WILL SAY IT AGAIN, SIDEWALK TALK IS A FREESTYLE SONG THAT MADONNA WAS FEATURED ON AND HER SONG RESCUE ME(ONE OF THE VERSIONS ON THE 12") HAD A FREESTYLE SOUND TO IT. THATS ALL. NOTHING ELSE. SHE DID GET HER START OUT IN THE FREESTYLE DAYS.

:barf

I wanted to see her on this tour.....still may try to catch a show...*fingers crossed*....

Freestyle remixes in the breakbeat and electro genres complete with old school style repetitive samples and violin riffs were done on while label promos for dj record pools in Canada and Brazil for "Die another Day" and "Music".

which cuts are you talking about. i pride myself on being a king of madonna white label 12"s, if you are talking about white label (bootleg) mixes. just not sure what remixes ur mentioning.
