the comparison i get between the 2 songs is the altered voices on both songs.
oh yeah thats for sure but there are a lot of dance songs with altered voices
there are freestyle songs with altered voices like dont stop the rock and then theres other dances songs with altered voices like dirty vegas for example yet even though both songs have this in common they are categorized differently

madonna has so many different musical sounds pop is usually wut shes classified under because its such a broad category
most of her music is hard to define in only one particular category
some examples are; ray of light and frozen like really this two for example mix in a lot of dif sounds
madonna is one of those artists that is a trend starter and not scared or intimidated by nething or ne one and that makes her and her music wut it is...AMAZING

Well i'm talking about the music and not the artist. The history of the artist and what he or she did or is doing can go out the window cuz that dont determine the songs genre. My point is that this new single sounds and is freestyle. Dirty Vegas has nothing on this. I believe that you guys are so reluctant of labeling it so because it sounds too different than your avg. freestyle song. But look at it this way, would you rather here the same thing all the time. Hell no, I believe people love variety. This is why this music died. Lack of originality and creativity. It's all in the traits guys. Take a good listen.

ok i am a HUGE freestyle fan and support it the way i can so obviously if any artist were to come out with a freestyle song i'd be supportive...ESPECIALLY if it were an artist with such high popularity, influence and talent like MADONNA
I too am a huge fan of hers...she is my fave ALL TIME singer...so that would be an added bonus my fave singer singing my fave TYPE of music...im not being reluctant IN MY OPINION i am being REALISTIC

What Madonna has been recently doing with some of her material is incorporating some of that 80's vibe into it(Going back to her Roots). If you look back, herself amoung many others (ex: Debbie Gibson) where also using some of the same sounds that freestyle would later become popular for, yet this didn't make Madonna or Gibson a freestyle artist. They were considered more pop then anything else.
Yes one can argue that some of our freestyle artists were on the pop charts as well..but it was more on the merits of well produced and written songs, damn good songs! it wasnt specifically the sound alone that took them there.
Sooo when someone today says "hey that sounds like freestyle" in madonna's latest material or anyone else's material, subconsciously what they're identifying with is that 80's sound which made them fall for freestyle to begin with, but nope, it doesnt necessarily make it freestyle!

Can we say Dance Electronica? I think it's the perfect term!?!
Personally, I won't consider this song as a Freestyle track even if sometimes the Electro beat and elements are very close from the Electro Freestyle genre, especially the singles out in Germany.
By the way everyone possesses his own definition of Freestyle music... so. 🙂
