Sorry to counter your post Coro's Girl but when I thought of "suck" I automatically thought of Lyrics which "don't suck" are catchy and make a point.

One of my all time favorite is by Joey Kidd's "Broken Promises"

I think I can say anything written by Michael Anthony Berto, he is an amazing and very talented writer and I also love the writing on the Stephanie Bennett song :"Back for my love" really smart catchy not your run in the mill cheese.

I gotta say that the lyrics to LaRissa's "I Do Both Jay and Jane" are without a doubt, amazing. Who ever said anything was wrong with being "bisexual". This girl put the shit on the map and she gets pleasure from both sexes. And she got no shame.

Marc Anthony's "He's a Rebel"

This song is very interesting. It's not about love yet it is considered freestyle. Very unique in two senses...in a lyrical sense....this song has the whole Westside story agenda. He talks about two guys named Jose and Ramon who live similar lives in the ghetto and what happens when these guys meet face to face. And On a musical perspective...this song can be considered late 80's pop and/or freestyle which is something thats not common in freestyle music. I give it a plus though Anthony's voice was not all the way up there yet but it was his first song so I give him credit for that.

The lyrics on Regrets sung by Tomaxx. Shiat those lyrics are off da hook. That song brings back alot of memories.
