walking under the moon and the stars
they stopped near the ocean
where she sang her song of love
the waves moved in rhythm to her song
Seductively she called to all the lovers
to join her
What a beautiful song she sang
how it touched the lovers hearts
holding hands they turned to each other
looking in each others eyes
they began to sway to the song
hearts beating as one
becoming one in each others arms
declaring their undying love to one another
she placed her hands on their shoulders
she sang each note more beautiful than the first
hypnotized by her song their tears fell from their eyes
the song seemed to stir emotions in them they had never felt
gently she wiped their tears she had not wanted them to weep
But they wept of the happiness, the comfort, the love
that they felt in their hearts
and with that she nodded
she had opened their hearts so that they may feel the love
that was trapped inside
a love that they had forgotten
a love that was purest of all loves
She ended her song blowing them a kiss
into the nite she disappeared
leaving the lovers to themselves
The ocean wind blowing softly
the stars shining brighter
The moon smiling down on them.
