It’s a mystery to me,
How brazen love can be,
It brings alive, All things inside,
Enthralls our senses,
Yet so plain to see,
It feeds off lives,
No one can hide,
From love and all things we believe.
It lights the way,
So many ways,
It begs to stay.
As it scrapes and bruises,
In search of its high,
Your life, my life,
It seeks, it finds.
No escaping,
It sets you free,
Yet it binds and it blinds,
With words, love and ecstasy.
It holds it cradles,
You cant breathe,
You die and you rise,
In the blink of an eye,
Thirst to quench,
Hearts to feed,
First it loves then it bleeds,
This is what love means to me.
