Universal Mother Yemaya
I'm singing to you
I wanna let, wanna let the world know
That you represent all the richness of the world
Oh yes you do
Oh yes you do
Yes you do
Oh and I wanna let the whole world know
Goddess of sweetness is Ochun
Oh yes it is
Oh she'll ask you
Ask you to pray to her
When you're out of reach
When you aint got no love
She'll be there for you
All you gotta do
Is pray to Ochun
She is love and sweetness too
You've just got to believe there is Love and Happiness

Yo, check out the "Llego La India via Eddie Palmieri" version of Yemaya Y Ochun! That shit is off the hook! It's strictly Santeria chants, and then it breaks into the Salsa version..."Yo le encanto mi cancion....a todos hijos..."!

It gives me chills just thinking about it. Her Latin debut album was one of the best debuts from a Freestyle/Dance artist, runner up is Brenda K. Starr's.

Too bad they don't get along. Together they can do really big things.

Thanks for those lyrics. It beats making up my own as I go along. 😉
