they showed a clip of a guy dumping a plasma tv cause it was to much to carry and i guess it really dawned on him.... now that he's got it? where was he gonna watch it or plug in? no power, no cable other than food diapers and water everything else that was material means crap now. Everyone at this moment in that region is no better than the other. Worth means nothing right now. Everyone is in the sameboat hungry, dirty, in pain, emotionally scarred and helpless cause thuer own leaders cant ell them the right answer of where to go or what to do. Thats real ..that sucks!
I pray for them all.

why did they take boxs of brand new nikes and boxs of beer . shit makes no sence they loot over the worst of times and loot over anything just like in la . and the dumb ass smile on cam

Sadly, the worse is yet to come. I'm going to say it's almost the equivalent to the tsunami that hit South East Asia. Water can do some serious damage. And that area is going to be swarming with mosquitos and all types of poisonous snakes and shit. It was even reported that ocean life such as sharks could be disoriented and lurking in the waters of downtown New Orleans. I can't even begin to imagine what I would do. One thing for sure is that my ass would've left New Orleans two days prior to the hurricane touching land. I have no clue as to what these people were thinking.

Last year I was in Orlando when hurricane Charlie hit. It was on a Friday, around 10 a.m., that Orlando declared that everyone stay in doors. Basically, we had a curfew. So, the family and I are sitting in our hotel rooms on the Disney resort awaiting the hurricane, and I have NEVER witnessed anything like that before. It was just as exciting as it was scary. At one point I swore I saw a tornado about to form. It was some crazy shit. At around 4 p.m. the eye of the storm was lurking over Orlando, and the sky turned dark.....you could hear the wind roaring from inside our rooms, it was f**king insane. I went outside for a quick minute just to get a feel for what it would be like and the minute I stepped outside I stepped right back in. It was windy, the rain was hard against my skin, I was cold......

The next morning, when we were going to Epcot, we witnessed the damage....and it was all too surreal.

People don't seem to get the concept of the danger of a hurricane. It's sad. How many times do we have to see pictures of devastation before people realize that when they say evacuate, they mean it?

What abotu those that had no choice but to stay cause they were sick no money and handicapped or sick where you arent mobile would give you no choice but to try and stick it out for fear of worse i dotn think anyoen thuoght or even imagined it would be this bad. 🙁

EXACTLY MY POINT.
Now.. you have all these people arguing about who to point the finger at!! Oh.. its Bush's fault (I am no Bush supporter but...) that he didnt leave his ranch sooner, or its the states fault because they didnt call for evacuations in time, or its the meteorologists fault because they downgraded the storm prior to landfall... GOLLY GEEZ, accept the fact that you DID NOT LEAVE.. And another thing, what the hell are they doing shooting at the Rescue Helicopters!! DID YALL HEAR THAT?? They are shooting at the helicopters, so guess what... NOW they have to suspend rescue operations!!?? WTF ARE THEY THINKING??? :uzi Urrh Makes me madder than heck!
