I was pissed when I got up last week and heard star on Hot 97 call her a filthy spic... That shit burned my blood for real,, He said some shit like she was all up their sayin nicca this and nicca that.. so he said he had no problem calling her a filthy spic..he said she ain't from no hood.. Common now...Just the same way he complained when she came out with the song that she said Nicca in like once or twice and she didnt even write it Ja rule wrote it..

I thought she had it...! I could care less about her personal life either. I like some of her music & some of her movies.. & it's great that she has succeeded out of poverty & made a name for herself.
my problem is this.. & this is also the reason why her "neighborhood" dissed her.

She forgets where she came from. she has gotten lost in her marriages & fame & become very full of herself.
I say she forgets where she comes from, b/c she doesn't do anything to give back to the crap ass neighborhood she grew up.
when she made Jenny from the block.. she shot it in LA., why not go to Castle Hill & make the video there. emply some poeple form the "block".
KTU"s goomba Johnny made a good point last week... he said he has been trying to get her to be invloved w/ this Hispanic society thing he is invloved with... every year the kids put on a big show around christams time..etc... he says he has been trying to get her invloved for a few years.. to give back & help out.. the kids are from castle hill, sound view.. west farms.. etc.. That's what i'm saying. I'm not being a hardcore hater. It's just that she flips flops a lot when it comes to men and her background. I'm not saying she has to be perfect, but she needs to make up her mind whether or not she's down with her community or not. That's all.
 
well..i saw the interview on 20/20 or whatever da show was. didn't look like ppl were dissing her to me. and they did show her signing autographs to a bunch of lil kids and all. the rumor probably got started by someone who didn't get an autograph or a pic with her or sumfin. whatever. i've met her a few times and she's always been nothing but sweet.one time she was even the one who offered to take a picture with me...without me even askin. i've never seen her be mean to ppl who ask for stuff. the most i've seen her do is say something like..."oh..i can't right now..i'm in a hurry" if she's being rushed. i can understand that...ppl get mad just cause they didn't get what they want. is she supposed to stand on da street all day and sign for ppl???...damn!! she got places to go too. i couldn't care less what she's doing in her personal life or who she's doing for that matter. i find it funny how ppl keep sayin.."she should just stick to movies and acting"...even though her music career is way more successful than her acting. it would be preety stupid for her to just do movies at this point. and i don't think she's stupid either...i think she's very well spoken and represents latinos preety well. at least she's not all up on tv speaking broken english...just to have street cred. and her "using" the fact that she's from the bronx for street cred is ridiculous..what's she supposed to say?? she's from da bronx dammit!!

Drama another thread lol. Well I ahd voiced my opinion on the whole thing a little while ago but here I go again. It is good to see a Latina in the forefront there is no doubt about that makes me proud as hell to know a Latina can get so far in her life a Boriqua at that. I give her mad props on all her success her bisiness choices are getting her where she wants to be. As a dancer she is great, as an actress she is good as a singer I am not feeling her but who ever does her tracks kudos to you it proves that you dont have to be vocally skilled to make it lol that a hott track will blow you up lol. Now I dont approve nor do I liek her personal choices because she is a latina in the forefront and we are stereo typed as is but my sister brought up a good point when we spoke about all the drama revolving her and what it falls down to is that she is just like every other Latina or woman out there trying to find the right man so much stress is put into it because she is out there on top and the media seems to be in love with her but ask yourselves how many of you and if not you how many of your female friends have gone from man to man each time saying he is the one and then shit happens and shes moved on to the next "love of her Life" I am sure we all know or have at one point or another a friend who has fallen into that cycle ot what about the friends who got a man and say how he is the one and how they love him so much but are quick to try to swing an ep with the next dude on the low shiat I know of plenty. When it comes down to it because she is an artist in the media one of the few latinas we got out there in the front so much is focused on her love life and because our friends etc etc arent out there in front of the cameras it seems differnet but in the end its te same shiat. I give her credit for leaving one for the next rather then creeping. I was disgusted with the whole thing cause young girls look up to her and are watching her every move and even dreaming about being the new Jlo so when it comes to my young sisters coming up I cringe case a lot of young girls look outside the home for an idol inspiration etc. All in all its her life as I said she gets mad props on her career. I cant knock her for not giving back to the community we dont know how she grew up who looked out for her on that block in her neighborhood etc If I made it big the last thing I would be doing is given back to my block because I knwo they aint give shit to me charitys and organizations fo sho my family and friends most deff cause there the ones who held me down. In the end its her life I may not agree with it all but I understand better then I did in the last thread I posted in 🙂

I admit I started to "jump on" the 'hatin' bandwagon one time but thought: "How much has her life changed and what are still her fears?" b/c of her celebrity status... she's still human remember?
