Detour Records & Films is looking for music to be place in and on a movie & movie soundtrack that we are making. You must own all rights to the song. If selected to appear in the movie or on the soundtrack you will be required to sign a contract giving permission. You will keep all rights to the songs & publishing. There is no money being offered because this movie is not being sold. It is being done for promotional use only. However if your song is selected you will receive a letter of thanks & DVD of this movie. This DVD will include the movie, trailer, the making of, commentary & soundtrack.
Why should you send in your song? Because this movie is being sent to major & indi movie studios. It's a chance to have others listen to your work outside the music industry. And there is always a chance that if a studio or company hears your song, they may want to use it for their project.
