looking for Message in the Bottle

This song probably came out in the mid 80's. It is NOT the Message from Grand Master Flash or the remake of the Police hit. This might not even be the name of the song. Sounds similiar to POP GOES MY LOVE. I grew up in South Florida in the heyday of Freestyle music. Any help would be nice
