Yep Yep I see a few good ones too "Regrets OnlY"!! I kinda like his vocals, "Love desire" makes me wonder the same!! And ohhh baby "when the pieces fall". Back in the Freestyle days House was much different and an integral part of any Freestyle night at clubs.... I loved it ,but as for House mixes "When the pieces Fall' had the only one I ever liked for a Freestyle song.
 
I'm def gonna have to agree with you guys about Yvonne Deleon, Chrissy Ieece and Cover Girls "My Heart Skips A Beat"...It seems that, while all these songs WERE hits at the time, whether it be in the clubs or on the radio(hell, Hot 97 played the sh*t out of the Cover Girls track), for some reason, some songs stand the test of time better than others. Most of the big artists have at least one song that might have been big at the time but isn't heard much anymore....my pic for that scenario would be TKA "Don't Be Afraid"...Sure, we all know it bc we're all fans...But nowadays thats like the one TKA song (Ok, besides "Crash" maybe) that you never hear in rotation on KTU or even in the mix shows (although that might change soon 😉 )

Enigma: Orgntr1 I thought you had this CD??? I recalled you selling a copy last year here on CF.

Yup. I did. Every original piece I had, I was offered a good deal so I sold it. Never got a chance to burn myself a copy of that cd.

This is sweet that im getting a copy. I know myself. I know I wont sell a CDR. lol. :cdevil

U gotta check out the "Giuseppe D Hothead" house version of "I Never Said" by Cynthia. It's madness! I like it a little more than the original version. It' got this wild energy. It's on the single. if u can find it, it's worth it.
 
virtually anything by elissa - if eiffel 65 managed to invade the mainstream radio with trash and be successful, why cant elissa put some much better stuff on the same stations?

Yo Finally someone agrees. I remember getting his cd in 94, the year it was released.Til this day I think it was the best of the year as far as I'm concerned."Parting in Tears" was good but "Can't go on","Some kind of Love"& "it doesn't have to be this way",were so new, so unique and yet so "Freestyle".

"Never Thought I'd Let You Go" is one of the best & least mentioned Cynthia records in my opinion. With the old school loops and the classic "MicMac" bassline, it was kinda like a "Change On Me" pt. II.
