It was on last night - against American Idol!!!!

I haven't caught AI all week... so I made sure I didn't miss it last night.

I totally forgot about Lisa Lisa being on Law & Order.

I saw the coming attractions for the show and how a celebrity drops their child out the window... what that the episode she was on?

I am so mad!!! I wanted to see that too.

I'm glad she did well and I hope she continues to act!!!

Yes, that's the episode she was on. She played a mother who along with her husband got paid $1 mil to let a celebrity molest their son because their youngest son was ill and if they didn't take the money he was going to die. The oldest son didn't find out until later that his parents basically pimped him so he flipped on them for the prosecution. Her character and the husband went to jail of course. It was a very good show. Very intense.
 
thank god I didn't watch it. as much as I lvoe Lisa, storylines like that I avoid.

Have you guys seen her in that show Taina? where she plays the girls mother? i've seen it a couple of times. don't know if they still give it though.

Naya I watched it a few times also, but they don't show it no more out here at least..
 
The rumor is they cancelled the show because it appealed to more girls than boys and there was another rumor that UPN was looking into picking the show up but as you can see it didn't happen. There were showing re-runs on Nick but it looks like they just stopped showing all together. They should have kept it or at least put it on another network it was a good family show!!

Nyasia... I totally know how you feel. But when it's a movie about something so horrible as that... I can stomach it enough to watch it, but when I catch sh*t like that on TV... I get really upset and all emotionally. (like when a baby sitter is taped smacking around a baby or something like that) I got nuts.

Wow... if money was tight... I would have pimped off my husband :lol before my kids!!!!

Seriously though... I would have done what I had to - but not that!!!

I got to see the 300th episode of Law & Order and I have to say she did a great job. I didn't see here name on the opening credits whats up with that unless she has a different acting name.
 
They showed her name as Lisa Lisa in the ending credits but on my TV it was small because they were showing what was coming on next, so it was easy to miss. I think they should have given her some props and put it in the beginning.

You can also catch Ms. Velez in Nickolodeon repeats of the "Taina" show. She plays Taina's mother-who occasionally performs.

Taina is played by Christina Vidal.
