I resent when freestyle fans look at themselves as a genre of muic that doesn't allow or respect crossing over. Any and every good freestyle song has that potential from it's inception. Freestyle was based on the popular music and rhythms (just like hip hop) from the beginning. When did that trend change? Why is it so bad far artist to make mainstream music that can elevate the level of the art? There is no reason why Lil Suzy/Suzanne Casale shouldn't explore all the types of music she chooses. She is at least promising two totally freestyle records. What's wrong with her doing a totally different style to accomadate the hardcore freestyle? Nothing, that's called ambition. Since when did we become the kind of people to frown upon ambition? I wish Lil Suzy Casale all the luck in the universe on her trip to the top.
She needs you Hekt, and everyone who seems slighted by her attempts to go mainstream to be behind her.
