Life can be so sad sometimes. I just got home from a wake. My neighbor's twin sister passed away from cancer..she was only 59 yrs old, which I think is too young to be taken away. She has 2 daughters who are around my age...26 and 28, who are now without their mother. I cant imagine what they must be feeling right now. The younger one wouldnt leave the casket. I also feel so sorry for my neighbor...she was so close to her sister...and she had a younger sister who was murdered in the early 1980s. It is so sad what cancer does to a person. I strongly believe that more money needs to be spent on cancer research in this country. Im tired of seeing people who could live out many more years being taken away from us due to this disease. Please say a prayer for her tonight.

Its is a very evil way of dying. you are left absolutly powerless. You must watch your loved one endure so much pain and you cant do anything. My mother was 57 when she passed away. :sosad
 
I will definately have all who have lost a loved one from cancer. This month the 21st will be a year that I have lost my grandmother to ovarion cancer. She was only in her early 50's. It has been hard for my family because she was always there for all occasions and now she is not there physically. One thing that makes me feel better is the feeling that I know she was not taken away by someones stupidity but rather by the Lord Himself. He needed another angel and he chose my beloved grandmother. To everyone who has lost someone close... Much love.. I feel ya!!!
 
Randi I Was Just Gonna Post Somethng About Cancer.....let Me Tell You About One Of My Friends, She Just Told Me Last Nite..

In Early February One Iof My Coworkers Came To Visit Me And She Told Me That Her Lymphs Were Swollen And That Antibotics Wasn't Working And That They Wer Gonna Do A Biopsy. Well I Hadn't Heard From Her Since Then So I Called Her And They Found Cancer In Her Throat And Had To Do Surgery To Remove It!! Omg My Heart Dropped!! She Is Sooo Young She Is 26. She Is Gonna Be Starting Chemo For One Week Just To Make Sure They Removed Everything. It Really Broke My Heart When She Told Me This. She Was Soooo Strong As She Was Telling Me This, She Did Not Once Breakdown On Me. I Pray That They Removed All The Cancer With Her Surgery!!
 
OH wow that is so heart breaking I dont know what I would do if my mother was not here yea we have gone through or episodes but what is a mother and daughter relationship with out all the episodes? I honestly think I would lose my mind
 
LatinaHeat..that is unbelievable...I will be praying for your co-worker. I hope everything turns out ok for her! Cancer really does touch people of all ages. The girl that cuts my hair lost her daughter to cancer a few yrs ago. She was only about 20 yrs old. She had cancer then went into remission and they thought she was fine...but then it came back and it spread so quickly that there was nothing the doctors could do for her. She went so fast.

I think cancer has touched everyone's lives at some point. I would just love to see the day when they find a cure and people no longer have to suffer from this horrible disease.
