Baseballs a*****e commisiner:Bud Selig is trying to Contract the Expos because of their poor stadium turn out of around 5000 fans. But they are also making an option to move them to DC. I must admit, Montreal is mostly a Hockey town. I hear the Montreal Canadians are the big ticket in Montreal.

yeah they wanna contract the expos and one other team either tampa bay or minnesota due to poor attendance and revenues... some minor leauge teams are doing better than those 3 in revenues and attendance.

Exactly, Montreal is a Hockey Town. People there consider the expos as a good comedy show at the O(Olympic Stadium).

Hey, speak for yourself man! I'M in Tampa and I went to opening night last night! A cool 40,000 people showed up! Not to mention we're 20th (out of 30 teams) as far as revenue income! That's not by all means "GREAT", but that doesn't warrant us a contraction...10 other teams are below us in revenue income! Check yourself...and your STATS Mo! The D-Rays ain't going nowhere for now! if anything the Marlins are more in danger! Their attendance is worse & their stadium horrid for baseball....

As for the Expos! I wish them luck! Even though I grew up a Mets fan, I ALWAYS (no lie) had a sweet spot for them Canadians! '94 could've been their year (they had the BEST record in baseball in '94...look it up if U don't believe me), but the stupid players strike IN '94 literally SLIT THEIR THROATS! When the smoke cleared, they lost all their superstars to the "big" guys (and that goes for the other small town franchises as well)! This has ruined the game! Contraction will not solve the problem...I believe a salary cap CAN! Maybe someone other than the "buy the championship" Stankees can win it all, the way it was in most of the 70s & 80s!

Think about this...since the players strike (in 1994) WHO has been winnnig championship after chamionship???.....Stankess, Stankess, Stankees! That sh*t is gettin' old QUICK & "CHUG" Selig needs to do something about that PRONTO!!!
