Everyone here on ClubFreestyle, are here because of the Freestyle music. We are here because we are fans. Now let me ask you a question. Lets say you dislike an artist (alot), and this person comes out with some new Freestyle music. Will you put all issues aside and admit that you like their new material? Or would you not even buy it because that one person happens to be the one who made it? Would you post and dog them out, even if deep down inside, you know that this person was out there trying his/her hardest to give you what you've been wanting? You gotta admit, we all want to hear some new Freestyle..BUT..with the same flavor as it had back in the late 1980's..right? Ok...so this one person gives you that..but wait..u dont LIKE them..my question again...would you give them a chance and hear it? Or would you not even bother because once agian..you just dont like this artist because of some personal problems......Lets be HONEST..tell me what YOU think....
 
As long as the music is good, that's all that should matter.

Of course, you'll get a few people who aren't mature enough to put aside grievences or dislikes.......

I'd give it a try and post up what I thought about the song. Of course there are really no artists that I do not like. I like everything! :stoned Well almost everything! 😉

In no way would I disrespect an artist! It's not something that's in me to do. I have respect for any one that goes out and tried their hardest. 🙂

I just want to also see everyone elses opinion on this one..cause if I EVER post a thread about a song someone has made...and I know they dont like that person, and they say shit even without hearing his/her song..I wont be too happy..LMFAOOOOO

well I am going to post my opinion, I believe that some will either not post or post negatively because of the personal drama, but I would love to hear some of those same poeple do the singing for once...lololololol, but it's all good, I have always known that you can't please everybody, so I don't even try, as long as I am happy with it,it's cool with me.

There have been many artists that I wasn't feelin their music at first but am now a fan of. A hot song is a hot song.

But if I know somethings about the artist that I know to be true, then yes, my ears would be def to their music. I've met a few artists (non-freestyle) that are madd arrogant, show up late for shows, give a wack performance if their mad about some arrangement. It's like dawg, this is your job yo! Sometimes I don't feel like going to work but I can't walk up into work and tell my boss to kiss my ass and expect to still have a job ya know!
 
Thats what Im saying..I havent heard real good material in a long time...Im not one to be picky..I aint gonna say "I dont like it"..Or "I dont like this person and wont even bother"...But I would still like to know that there is someone out there making some Freestyle, that has that same flavor as before. I KNOW there will be someone to give us what we have been craving for...Some peeps may not like this person...But Im for it..I dont care who and whats up with this person..whether my friend or not..If your makinf freestyle..and its HOT..then baby...bring it ON...

Think about it, if an artist has a funky ass attitude consistantly, they obviously don't appreciate their fans.
 
This is a tuff question?? I pretty much like all freestyle! Any of the music I didn't like well... I just didn't buy it (Usually the least popular freestyle singers or no namers) I do know. I personally hate boyband's!! A Female friend of mine who I always go to concerts(Freestyle and clubmusic concerts)with wanted to go see a certain boy band and I said no way!!! I told her to go with someone else. She ended up going with her boyfriend(ex now). She and I are still the best of buddies though!! That's tough!! I guess if you heard the song on the radio and really liked it I guess give it a try. I used to hate Rock music and now I like it including some metal.(thanks to WWE, Linkin Park, ect ect!)
 
I would NEVER disrespect any artist unless they PERSONALLY disrepected me which is HIGHLY unlikely cuz WELL I am JUST NUBBALE ....LMFAO!!! Ok seriously like Witchy stated I LOVE ALL THE ARTIST There maybe a few artist that I'm not too familiar with but if I hear them and LOVE the music I will buy their CD. 🙂
 
its all about the music....i have been proven wrong many times...but wen im listening to a song i dont think about the artist...i think bout how that song makes me feel...and to be honest the artists that actually dissapoint me are the ones im a fan of cuz i have such high expectations of them.....

MARK..I also agree with you, if an artist has a funky attitude I get turned off too, no matter what.

There was one artist in particular whose music I liked in the beginning, but then her negative & stupid comment about white people buying her music turned me off to her and her music. Music shouldn't have anything to do with race, it's all about making people feel your words, making them dance, make them want to sing your song with you at a show or concert..oh well
 
OK example there is a artist that actually is a freestyle and dance artitst that I see basically everywhere. Like bars, cafes even clubs. This artist is very arrogant, walk in stands by the bar and is stands there kinda like saying ok im here look at me. If you try and make conversation the artist is usually rude and cuts u off and rarelly smiles. Then on the flipside I have seen this artist perform live 3 times and the show is amazing, ive heard this artist on radio interviews and seems like the nicest person. Let me tell you if the artist "working" (performing,promoting...) amazing not working the biggest.... Neways wut im getting at is that this artist has amazing songs and I have all cds and like to see performances. Why cuz the songs are good and so are the performances. I just look at it like if you are a singer and have any fan base wut so ever you should be nice or at least try to be at all times.
