Only in America are we so hung up on sex and nudity, in Europe and other countries, children are exposed to nudity, and in fact bathe with other family members.

I think we as a nation need to think of the real dangers our children face.

Also, we should talk to and coach our kids whenever they see something on television like this. Give them a better understanding so then that way.....they'll know the deal and will still grow up with that clean mind.

But, I totally loved the whole planned publicity stunt.
Cheap or not, im all for jaw-dropping acts (a trademark in my shows), & I KNEW that these people in the news etc, were gonna blow it out of porportion & start the "Never Ending Story" on this act, as they did with the Madonna kiss, J-Lo's dress, & Prince's a$$-less pants, etc, etc.

The media are such suckers, & ALWAYS get all into it - lol.

And as for kids watching it, they shouldnt have been up at that hour watching anything on a school night.
And if I was a kid & had missed it, I woulda been sooo pissed!

Im glad she did it, & hope her & other artists continue their "shock" streak from time to time, wether cheap or not, in my book its all in fun.🙂

Over seas, a soap commercial is a SOAP COMMERCIAL!. They show everything. And there isn't a towel blocking the view. And why is that? Because the human body in all its glory isn't viewed as a sexual object. But an object of splended workmanship and art.

Because the minute a beautiful sculpture of the human body goes on display, there has to be some tight wad , no play getting, skird to see the body type person who has to press there opinion upon everyone else, by gasping and placing hand over mouth in dismay and shock.

I dunno bout anyone else but my bedtime was always 9pm when I was growin up. And actually that was my bedtime until I was 14 yrs old.

Now then...

What kid in AMERICA be it a school night or not...is in bed for 8:00? Cuz that's what time halftime was goin on here in New Orleans. :nah
 
Most kids have seen nipples by the time they've even hit pre-school. Breast Feeding? I know it's not the same but still. What if Justin had shown his nipple? It would've been socially acceptable. I just think Americans are too wrapped up in this whole nude = bad thing.

Yes, as I already posted, I missed the whole "exposing" of Janet's boob, but now that I saw the picture, it wasn't that bad. I mean, did they zoom in on it during her show? The zooming in came after (thanks to the websites now. lol) but it is only a boob partially covered. Granted, I totally disagree and I think it was in poor taste, but at least Justin wasn't caressing it or anything like that.

I mean, take the movie Titanic... when Leo is painting her nude picture they didn't show her bottom, but they showed her boob... and even though my kids were 4 and 5 (I think), I didn't rush up on them to cover their eyes, because it was innocently shown. She was being painted not in a s*xually manner either. Don't get me wrong... I'm not saying I let them see naked people... but that particular moment, it was innocently shown. If contact is there, then that falls under another category... s*x!!! and that is something I am in no rush for my kids to know about.

It's funny how Janet use to be all covered up, does anyone remember that? Then she started to show off her body, which she should because she has a beautiful body... but not to that extreme.
