Ok, the line-up for PARTY GRAS has been announced and I heard that the freestyle dj for the night will be TOMMY NAPPI.

Im a bit disturbed by this and I think we should call the station and voice our opinion. Afterall, its not him that helping freestyle on the station. It happens to be DJ JAMES ANTHONY. A long time member and huge supporter of CLUB FREESTYLE.

I would like everybody to take a stand and call the station and let them hear us! James has been with us since the begining and now that we have one of our own on the KTU crew, I think we owe it to him by having him do this night. I enjoyed having him at the COPA show in the VIP room and I would love to hear him there again!
 
Kenny, good post. Get the Members an Email or Phone # so we can all take a stand.

Kenny you know that it's all about politics over at KTU. Let it be. James will soon get his chance. The station as a whole plays the same recycled songs over and over and people get tired of the same thing all the time. Tommy Nappi is a fair D.J. but he could never f*ck with the likes of "Little" Louie Vega when Louie used to spin freestyle back in the day. It's the same old sh*t at all these radio stations, that's why I like watching and listening to my productions that I have done for television commercials. I'm laughing all the way to the bank while KTU plays the same lame sh*t. They need to through parties like this every now and then to keep the listeners. Don't let them fool you cause it's all about the dolla so Holllllllllaaaaaaa

I know they dont know anything in repect to keepin the fans happy. But let them know there are people out there that want change. Let's not just sit back and do nothing. Let's get them to open thier eyes.

Nothing against James Anthony (he's great and deserves to be one of the d.j.s at Party Gras), but give Tommy Nappi some credit. He's also a great d.j. and has been one of Freestyle's biggest suppporting d.j.'s since the beginning in the 80's. Even when it wasn't fashionable to drop Freestyle in radio mixshows, he did. He was also instrumental in getting acts signed to labels back in the day and often convinced radio programmers to add Freestyle records when they were hesitant to do so.
 
I'm just wondering if anybody's really interested in Party Gras at all. Who wants to shell out $30 to see the same artists we've all seen 50 times before at these KTU events? Is it worth it?

as for tommy nappi, im sure he is a huge freestyle supporter BUT he is not a member here.
