In years in the past popular nominees included...

SALMA HAYEK-"FRIDA" MEXICAN
etc..
But, in acting categories only 4 latino's in 75 years have won oscars...and they are..

Best supporting actor 1957
ANTHONY QUINN-"Lust for Life" MEXICAN

Best supporting actress 1962
RITA MORENO-"WEST SIDE STORY" PUERTO RICAN

the 76th annual Academy Awards will air Feb.29th on ABC.

I can't wait to see them this year..
i'm hoping Catalina Sandino Moreno wins for best actress
Maria Full of Grace was a great movie and very true... even if she does not win
just the fact that ishe is a nominee is great.. we should all be proud of that
plus she is colombian that makes me even more proud..
