i'm reading the magazine and to my suprise i see a lil pic of K7 and Lisa Lisa.
The heading is "Whatever Happened to..."
it's just a few words on both of them.
] but on the end of what they write about K7.. he says that he is doing a reggaeton album.. and that reggaeton is the new freeatyle...
do u guys agree with that ?

Oohh so you are just reading any magazine huh? lol!

He probably meant it in the form that its growing the same way Freestyle did in the 80s. Reggaton has been around for a while but its basically been low keyed the way FS has been in these years. Kay do ya thing.

i have it right here.. Latina magazine june 2005 ...
page 128 ..
he talks about how he is currently recording a reggaeton album.. and at the end he says that that is the new freestyle..

don'tget me wrong.. i love Kay and i'll always be a fan and support him no matter what he does..
just wanted to share what the mag said

oh of course I know you always been a fan devoted fan, everybody at some point spreads there wings so we cant knock anyone for taking or tryign other things

I think Kay is just saying that reggaeton is the new freestyle because he's a freestyle artist that's going into the genre of reggaeton and perhaps there will be more freestyle artists doing the same. It's just a positive message he's trying to put out there. 🙂

well as we all know the swingbattaswing album had unreleased tka
songs..that ended up not sounding freestyle..and new songs that
kay's feeling of music beats sounded more urban..hip hop..and on
songs like "move it like this" his music was sounding jamaican..n
reggae like...edging him into that genre..because as a writer and
producer and artist..that is what he is feeling..most artists tend
to do music from their soul..if people like it..good...if they don't,
you can't make ppl like what they ain't feal'n..
the music goes on..and it evolves.. 😉

a lot of regaeton sounds the same to me

ChuckD I think our feelings is exact bro. To me is sounds like some guy banging on milk crates and using them for drums, then comes spanish rap.

Im sure Im gonna have many disagree with me...but what can you do? Its the lastest fad music right now thats hot for many.

I do admit I like El Calderon that boy is bad! He is the only one in which is style of music I love.
