walk down memory lane. a long time ago i used to subscribe to a (short-lived) magazine called QUE PASA. i entered a contest in the mag and won a tape by the LATIN RASCALS. The tape had 10 songs on it and included DONT LET ME BE MISUNDERSTOOD. great tape. i dont have it any more unfortunately. here is my question. the LATIN RASCALS consisted of TONY MORAN and ALBERT CABRERRA, correct?

i still have a cpuple of copies of QUE PASA - they always had coverage on latin artists. they gave great exposure to freestyle scene

you are correct in what you are saying - tony moran has been producing, remixing, etc... for the bigwigs now for quite some time, including gloria estefan, celine dion,etc... he is doing very well for himself. he recently worked on the last safire project "bringing back the groove"

as for albert, i believe he is still in the business.

SANDMAN, thank you for your informative response. i wish i still had my copies of QUE PASA. it was a great magazine.

What's up? I got a chance to meet and bulls**t with Tony Moran back in May at HMV Records in NYC. He was there promoting and spinning jamz from his new Global Groove "House" cd. It was truly a great honor to meet him and tell him what he means as far as Freestyle goes.He did mention something about a greatest hits cd.
