Wow....this beat is sick...definitely a much fuller sounding song all around compared to the Akon/Jay Sean flava beats.

Hot song but it might never be officially released. Some sites are saying it will be a bonus track on her Fame Monster album. Others are saying it was an old demo and it won't be available legally.

The Akon/Jay Sean flava beats are totally planet oriented whereas this is the latin hip hop drum patterns being played using new sounds/technology. Savage had posted a track up here (instrumental only) that incoroporated the concept of old school being played with new technology sounds.

Are we now in another universe. We got pop singers doing freestyle and freestyle singers who will not record new freestyle. 😕 😕

The thing is that most of the old school freestyle artists want to experience that commercial success they had in the late 80's/early 90's.

CHR is geared for artists in the 18-35 age range for the most part. That shuts the door on most of the old school being that most are over 35. There are exceptions to this but even artists like Madonna who ruled the charts in the 80's and 90's can't get much airplay on CHR.

What's next for artists when CHR is not an option? Record dance music (some variation of house). Then you'll get some airplay on stations like KTU which are Rhythmic AC's and are growing in numbers all around the US.Take the George Lamond track "Don't Stop Believing" it's still getting airplay two years after it came out.

I just played this song at a party last night and everyone kept asking who sings this song when I told them it was Lady Gaga they couldn't believe it cause it was freestyle to their ears....hmmm.....anyway,stay tune because another big name artist is about to come out with a freestyle track...this one could be the big one.

Check out Lady Gaga on Mtv's "Boiling Points" as a brunette before she was famous.

The way I see it is mainstream artists can rape a freestyle track any day of the week.

But you get a real freestyle artist on the radio and they are laughed at and no one wants to hear them.

I was typing it as IF you got a Freestyle artist on the radio singing a freestyle song people would laugh and not want to listen to. But if Lady Gaga sang a song with a freestyle beat it would be a hit.
