I got my Bad Boy Joe Megamix Volume 5 cd yesterday and I absolutely love it! The old school cd has some of my fave songs in it...especially Boy Ive Been Told by SaFire and once again, Bad Boy Joe has put a fresh spin on the classics.

And Wille Valentin...I hope from now on you always continue to mix the new school cds because this one was UNBELIEVABLE!! It is now my fave cd. I love all the songs on it...its hard to pick faves because they are all so good!! But right now Im really feeling 'Saying Goodbye" by Latin Nation. Willie, you did a fantastic job on this cd! Congrats!

And thanks to Bad Boy Joe, Gene Rombola, and What if Productions for continuing to give us freestyle fans the music they love!...both old school and new school!

Randi (FreestyleGal)

Freestyle Gal why thank you sweetie. It was an honor to have wrote the song, but to a slamming beat by Mr. Willie Valentin, and can't forget the sweet background vocals by Synthia Figueroa. Willie We did it again, everybody loves the track, I feel like the first time when we did "Eres Mi Vida". Thanks bro. Randi thank you again. I will be this Saturday at the Diamante Show Performing and promoting the new song, as well on the 21st at Club Tru in Altlantic City, NJ so hope to see you guys there.
Sincerely
Alex

I'm going to get mine tomorrow when I get paid, but anyway, I'm sure it will be off the hook. I hope freestyle artist keep this going because I enjoy the music and appreciate the talent.

Alex...its funny because I was wondering who was doing the background vocals on the song! I was watching the Diamante show on Monday night and you were performing that song..it was the first time I heard it so I couldnt wait to get this cd! Great song!!!

Congrats bro !!!!!!!
Cd is hot..........

Are ya doing the next BBJ too?

The Bad Boy Joe CDs are way too simple. I personally think that the Chicago mix CDs are way better. Tim Schommer and Kid Heartbreak are the best ones. Freestyle Amor is probably the best new school CD I ever heard. Just my opinion.

Freestylehead I Hear What Your Saying. But The Feedback On The Chicago Mixed Cds (which I Happen To Like) Are Not The Style Most Ny'ers Like. I Have Showed These Mixes To Tons Of People And They Complain That The Songs Are Sped Up Too Much And That They Dont Let The Songs Play Out. Did You Hear The Badboy Joe 5 Cds? Me And Tim Actually Did A Cd Together Back In 98 And It Sold Very Well. Time Is The Man. Kid Heartbreak Is Not Bad.

I just got the CD, It's hot! It's taking me a min to get into the new Generation cd, but overall, it's in my cd player 24-7. Willie, hopefully I'll get Zabian on a mix when things come together, but I do think that if we remixed what I sent you, it would have fit perfect. To all the artists and DJ's,keep up the New Generation tracks!

Glad you like it Prince, much love. Come on people this is a hot cd. New school was very well put, and Bad Boy tears up the old school. Look foward on Vol. 6
If you have gotten Vol. 5! What are you waiting for?!?!?!?!? 🙂
Thanx for all those who have support it my new song and me with the last couple of years!

If anything, producers and record label people like yourself should totally like the Chicago style mixes better BECAUSE the songs are not played that long. It's just a little snipet of the song. If people like what they hear, they can go and look for the full length version of that particular song. The Chicago style CD is totally more centered around the DJ himself being the artist and all the little samples of songs as pieces to a collage of art whereas the New York style mix CD is more like a compilation (some of them aren't even mixed-making them nothing more than bootlegs). There is a big difference between the two. From the perspective of a record industry person, the Chicago style CD should be the way to go. I'm sure people from Chicago would know the scene out there better, but from what I've heard, the mix scene is no where near as big over there as it once was.

Chicago mixes are smokin! These are truly what mixing is all about. Their music is so good, that they're more like production engineers. Almost every song is remixed! Looking forward to hearing any Chicago mix Cd. I hope it's as good as Heartbreak's Freestyle Amor. That was one of the hottest "legit" CDs I ever heard. That guy took songs I didn't even like that much and made them sound good. Him and Tim Spinnin Schommer make you feel as if they're telling a story of passion and romance.
