KTU will be at MUSIC TRENDS in LEVITTOWN, Long island this Saturday, APRIL 5TH for MUSIC TRENDS grand opening!!! featured artist to appear are REINA, RENEE STAKEY, KATRINA RUIZ & ANGELO VENUTO!!

GUEST DJ'S WILL BE SPINNING LIVE PLUS MANY MORE SURPRISES!!

its not in the shopping center near Kohls and Toys R us anymore
it moved to the shopping center by tricounty and bally'

yup, EDGAR is right. I was made aware of the move thanks to FREE JACK a few months ago. the new store is very big and you will like that they have!!
 
need to support the stores that sell freestyle there might be a cple of Djs there that i know by face but not name (hoping since lost touch with one that is no longer playing where i used to hang out in Huntington village the rose & thistle)
 
Ed, if you have been going to TRENDS as long as I have, you might know my DJ PARTNER, Lloyd Congers. He was the one whom convinced Bob to move out of the Nassau Mall and into the store by TOYS R US way back in the late 80's. Lloyd had quit years later and you might of caught him spinning at SUMMERTIMES after that. He was the resident DJ there for a decade.
 
KTU is also Live this Saturday Night with Joe Causi, Judy Torres and George Lamond at OZ in West Hempstead.
 
i remember kenny used to go there just to check out the stuff at once time it was either music trends or a store that used to be near u on park avene called either "agents of fortunes " or Neils wax meusem best hard rock music store (back in the days before the CD LOL
 
lol ed! i think that was way before me! there is a record store on park blvd still but it only caters to the trance/house scene. its in the rear of a hip-clothing store catered to teens.

anther great spot was the record store next to the high school. I forgot what it was called but they had since moved to east meadow (across from ZACHZRY'S) and now call themselves "MR CHEAPOS".

alas, the only music stores we have left in my town are sam goody, tower records and circuit city.🙁

been thehre as well was not as good as the wax it was like slipped disc in valley stream neil who owned it was a great guy to us kids
before i got my license used to take bus to sunrise mall and walk to park just to look sometimes

well I do love that store but I don't know how much they know about freestyle....they didn't even know who Johnny O was when I went in for his new album
 
Edalgiere, that would be SPIT/UNCLE SAMS!!! (later, changing to SIN CITY, UCITAN LIQUOR STAND & GOD....I forgot the last name they had before the owners set it ablaze and got busted for ARSON!)

Kelly, Ya have to ask BOB about freestyle. since he is the owner, he will know them (remember back in the day when he had every freestyle artist pics and autogrpah from A to Z on the wall????)
