lol Aim4night the CF dj battle...that was like a million years ago...as for the new schoolers out there who keep asking me to play Ashley and those types of songs, unfortunately Judy's show is a "classics showcase" and new school doesn't fit the format...The programming department at KTU feels that new school freestyle cannot capture an audience on a large level, and therefore I don't play new school...It's not my decision, its programmings...I dont purposely not play new school because I dont like it, its a matter that is completely out of my hands. I've said it before and I'll say it again, every radio station is different, different markets and different audiences...I don't want to open up a whole can of worms again...my final word is that what programming says goes, I just do the mixes so please everyone don't get all mad at me like im the non-new school nazi...This is what I do and I make people happy, if you don't want to hear it, turn the radio off, thats the beauty of the medium
 
first off for me to do a club off the island its a big hassle
have for the most time take train into city and figure how to get to it not going to risk a dwi or my car to do a fs show
kenny the same thing can be said about the clubs on long island that offers it bet i was the only one from cf at the oz shows for cynthia and judy torres

I agree with James on the Buisness aspect of it , your hands are tied. I love the Classics and I Like some of the new also. Artist such as NicK Colon, Nu Image , and Ashley I think the new artist should be given a chance. Ive seen it first hand how hard some of these new artist work. Allot do it for the love of the music and the fanz.

Well Chuck, Judy played a couple last weekend...She played Fascination "Dont You Think Its Time" (a song I've always felt they should have played but never did), TKA "Is It Love".....I gave her songs like uhhhhhhhhhh Nancy Martinez "Move Out", Cynthia "How I Love Him", The Girls Club "I Lost The Love", Eileen Flores "I Have Dreams", Rios "Hold Me"....stuff like that....you'll be hearing them soon enough 😉
