What are you guys complaining about? Since i've been here, since the end of November, the station KTU to me, has been good to freestyle. Other stations wouldnt play freestyle period. I've been in North Carolina for 7 years and they never played a single freestyle song in their stations. The only freestyle song that I recall that I remember hearing on NC stations was "let the music play". I believe KTU goes beyond any other station as far as freestyle's concerned. I heard the Sunday show with Judy last week and was pretty impressed. Also, as i've seen, KTU does not only play freestyle on their sunday show. They will at times play f. tunes after a house track or two. I wouldnt complain. I think KTU's doing a fine job with our music. Let's go after the station's that have forgotten freestyle instead.

Sounds good, but since KTU is the self-proclaimed "Beat Of New York", don't you think it's best to start where freestyle was born?

true. they played K7'S jam during the show last night PLUS a new DUET by JUDY TORRES & KEVIN CEBALLO.
 
I love that Christmas song by Judy Torres and Kevin Ceballo!!! They should collaborate together more often!

I would be content of they stopped playin the dam song 20 times a day for 6 weeks straight! I mean, my ears can't take it!
 
I haven't tuned into KTU in months & months. I think I've heard The Cover Girls and Coro enough times. They nedd to decide what type of station they are. First they're a dance station in their return. Then, as I knew would happen, they start leaning towards R & B. Now, as I hear others tell me, they are moving back towards dance. They seem to have multiple personality disorder. Until they make up their mind and stick to it, I'll never listen to them again. I'd rather listen to Z-100, which I in fact do. They are, and always have been, a station that plays a bit of everything. At least they're not confused

I dont even think i was into "radio" when the original KTU was out! I remember the 1st station i used to listen to in 83 was Z100.

Long story why i never listened to radio before that! (my father broke all the radios in the house!)
 
Damn, sorry to hear that!! (about what your dad did lol)

I also listened to Z-100 back then! It's like they haven't changed in the way they play a variety.

As far as the 92KTU, my sister is 3 years older, so she used to play it all the time. So, I was hooked very early on. Thankfully, I still have a few of those 92KTU Paco Super Mixes with the Latin Rascals. They were incredible! They were so ahead of their time!
