Some peeps have posted that they hate it, some have posted that they like it.

KTU is "testing" Dana's "Object Of My Desire".

Yes, it's a remake, but at least it's new freestyle. Maybe this could begin a trend.

If the song starts getting requests, it's possible that it will be given more exposure/rotations. This may lead to more freestyle.

Its a Great Song

For a remake its a great freestyle song. But again the freestyle community hurts itself because it wont support there own music.

you know what im sick of hearing people say that..I listen a song because its good..because it gives me a feeling because i wanna sing out loud like i wrote it..thats a good freestyle song..one that has you sitting at a traffic light banging on the dash board and steering wheel while your windows shake..thats freestyle!! im not gonna force feed myself shit because "its called or catogerized as freestyle" just so i can say.."yay i support freestyle..goody for me." let me be blunt as always THIS SONG SUCKS BIGTIME!!! kill the noise and kill then next artist to make a remix ..make an example of his/her sorry azz.. because thats what really hurts freestyle... what happened everyone forgot how to write new songs? and does anyone really believe that this remix or any will bring a new interest in freestyle ??:rolleyes

it is possible to produce a good remake tho tae...... Time After Time, Can u Stand The Rain, Heartbeat, Wishing On A Star, etc, etc were all great remakes....... this one just happens to be bad......

damn lol give the girl a break...when i first heard the song on ktu all i thought was wow, new freestyle, i like the song i think its pretty good, weve all heard bad things over the years, in my opinion this is a good one and i hope this starts a new trend, the only thing that can happen to freestyle now is blow up again!!!!maybe u need to listen to the tune a few times before it grows on you, idk, but i think its a hot song!!!
 
i like it, it's not the best but it is not the worst, the point is that it is freestyle, and is better then some of the material that is coming out...

it's not "new freestyle". it has a house/trance beat to it.
 
Its not a house trance beat. But just cause it has a freestyle/ electro beat doesnt mean its freestyle either. I think its an ok song. best thing about it is the vocals. But I dont consider it a Freestyle song.

Hey, I aint arguing with Willie (Willie and I go wwaayyy back!) but simply disagreeing. I hear a trance beat in the background. But it has been a while since I heard the song on KTU so my memory tends to fail me sometimes.
 
Well, like I said, I haven't heard it and I really don't care to.

But, Freestyle remakes are getting old. Very old.

Creativity has come to a complete halt. And if you to need to cover a classic to put your ass on radio, that's even worse.

KTU, like I said, is playing it because it is a familiar remake. That's all. People will like it, because they know it, even if it has a "new" beat to it.

Funny how they won't play any new "real" Freestyle, but they'll play this shit.
 
thats another factor on why i say its "trance". Trance is made up of many "remakes" and frankly, thats just about the only "TRANCE" KTU is playing (remember "heaven"?)
 
Sorry people...dont be blinded by something just because its new music on KTU....STARPOINT was never a freestyle group.. they were a club/dance act..Object Of My Desire was never a freestyle song and the remake is not even close to being freestyle..Think about it...Would u put Starpoint in the same category as TKA, Clear Touch, Natsy Boys etc..NOT EVEN CLOSE....
