'Kristina' by Pain (Is this song friggin' sad or what?)

I was listening to my Tazmania Freestyle Vol 9 and everytime I hear 'track 4' which is this heart wrenching song by Pain called Kristina it makes me sad as hell! I was curious if anyone of U freestyle masters knows the backstory (if any) behind this song?

I've narrowed it down to either his daughter grew up and left home or...I kinda hope it ain't this one...he lost his daughter tragically. Someone please hook me up wit' da 411 if ya got it.
