Arrested During His Own Concert

Latin dance artist Stevie B was handcuffed and taken off the stage during his concert last night by police in Springfield, MA for owing $420,000 in unpaid child support.

According to a local report, police say Hill was cooperative throughout the arrest and expressed concern he might miss a concert in Providence, RI.

Stevie B, real name Steven Bernard Hill, was big in the 1980s and 1990s. He is probably best known for his song "Because I Love You (The Postman Song)," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart in December 1990.

WOW!!!!! That is crazy sh*t!!!!! I would like to know more details about this one like exactly how did they interrupt the show? And that's without even considering the matter of the half a million dollars dude supposedly owes.

Just wanted to clear up a few things. Don't believe everything you read because alot of the circumstances stated in the media were inaccurate. One report says that he was "hauled off stage after performing his hit Diamond Girl". As you all know, for one, that's not Stevie's song. Secondly, Stevie was not "hauled off stage". If he was, the video would've been all over Youtube.
The fact is, we had a great show in the Mass Mutual Arena in Springfield Mass. The crowd was great and we thank you for a great time. Now Stevie has some personal issues that he needs to resolve. There are many out there saying negative things about the situation because they don't know all the facts nor is it their business to be honest. But to the fans out there showing overwhelming support for Stevie, he wanted me to tell you that he thanks you and he loves you.
We must remember that what goes on in Stevie's personal life has nothing to do with all the enjoyment he gives when your bumping his cd in your car or seeing him in a concert.
Again, to all the fans out there, Stevie thanks you for the love.

Sincerely,
G.

Yo Stevie, I just want to wish you the best in these tough times and hope all turns out alright.

From a big fan from Tampa, FL,
Tino

Tourboss, In case Stevie doesn't read these blogs, please deliver it for me.
Thanks

Kenny...thanks for the wishes. You're a 1ST CLASS type dude and we appreciate you and the way you run your site. Tino, I will give him the message. Will hopefully be seeing him very shortly. But he does read the blogs here. Kenny's site is one of the few he regularly reads. But I will give him the message.

G.

SPRINGFIELD, Mass. October 3, 2011 (AP)

A singer known for his 1990 chart-topping love song has agreed to pay more than $400,000 in child support after he was hauled off a Massachusetts stage and arrested.
State Department of Revenue spokesman Robert Bliss says Steven Bernard Hill of Las Vegas appeared in Hampden County Family and Probate Court on Monday. He'll stay in jail until he comes up with a $10,000 payment.

Hill performs as Stevie B and is best known for the song "Because I Love You (The Postman Song)."
He was arrested Friday at the MassMutual Center in Springfield, where he was performing. His two children and their mother live in Agawam.
Under the agreement, he must pay $921 a week plus $500 a month.
A message seeking comment was left with his attorney.

Everything is becoming obsolete compared to facebook. One day, all those phony trendy people will ditch fb for something else.

I direct some traffic to this site, especially when it comes to shows Im involved with but this tragedy wasnt something I wanted everyone to flock to read here. I could have done it but thought it was best that we read it here and since Stevie is a friend of mine, he should get the respect that anyone else deserves from us.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't it posted on the I heart freestyle facebook page?
