Personally, I can't stand the thought of EITHER of them in there, but what other option did we have? Its not like Nader was going to get enough to pull off the upset 🙁 Though (IMO!) the worse of the two won... 🙁

Well, since you asked, right now, nothing.

However, he is trying to get a "Marriage Protection Amendment" passed that will make it against the law for gays to get married. While John Kerry was also against gay marriage, he was not against "civil unions" or "domestic partnerships". The "Marriage Protection Amendment" will make ALL gay unions invalid and against the law, taking away the choices for gay people. All we are asking is for the same protections you get just for being straight.

He tried to get this messure passed twice. Both times, it was rejected. However, he is a Republican President, and the Republicans now control the Senate, and House of Representatives. It is very possible this amendment can be passed now, and Bush has said that it is a matter he takes seriously.

Just being honest, but if this amendment gets passed, I know I am going to struggle with the fact that there are people here who talked about how great I am, and how much they "love" me, and then voted for Bush and helped make my life more difficult.
 
I don't hate, but I also don't congradulate Mr. Bush on the presidental reelection for 2004, I'm a true believer in the american dream, and frankly I'm trying to pursuit it, and there is no guarantees in life, and YES!!!! I do disagree with the lazy workers of america that can work, but choose not to, soaking us for our tax money, and milking us for all we have! I really disagree with that bullshit. One thing I cannot stand is being lied to! I know this (BUSH)administration is very connected to the media, they sweep the truth under the rug, and try to fool us...I have some friends in the Marines and an old best friend at Iraq, and tell me the shit you don't hear in the news about the war. THere are literally hundreds of soldiers who commit suicide because they feel guilty they assinated a kid or a women, or who commit suicide because they cannot hang with the violence. Does the media tell you that? Do you read it in the newspapers NO! Basically its unfair for someone that works thier butt off to make some bread...and when they do something bad they get the maximun penalty...but when the rich wealthy folks commit crimes...they are not responsible for what they did! Is that Justice or is Just US? It's time for the truth to be uplifted and get this punks out of the white house!

This is the Greatest Country in the world and we all need to realize that and be proud to be Americans. There is no other county out there where we can live that way with do and say the things we say. This is the land of oppuntunity and there is no excuse for a person to not succede in this country. Some Amercians have become lazy and many people want things handed to them. I give a lot of immigrants that come to this country credit because they come here and start business' for themselves and live the American dream.
