Last Thurday at "Cuchifrito" @Kashmir Nightclub, they had a CD release party for Kelly Obourne, & they gave away free CD's, with Electroclash mixes of "Changes"(feat. Ozzy).
I know one mix is by Felix Da Housecat.
When I first heard the original song, I was like WTF? Is she doing gospel? - LOL.
But heard the lyrics & thought it was a beautiful song, & kinda sad.
The Electroclash mixes are more Retro-Yaz-New Order-Eurythmics techno-dance. And the "Feix Da Housecat Mix" carries a very sad electronic melody.
Especially after the chorus when they stretch out the ghostly & isolated: "Chaaannggesss".
Kinda creepy, yet very sad.
This is personally my favorite version of the song.
The other mix ("Who's your daddy? Dub Mix") is more "harder".
For some reason I picture people wearing mohawks & glowing white or neon lipstick dancing at an 80's club. lol.
Great mixes if u are a fan of this type of music.
How many of u heard these mixes?
What do u think?
🙂
