I feel you on being 30+ and single and running and playing and all that but the older you get the lonelier you get and at some point women will start to wonder why your so old and you're still alone......I don't know man......but i got tired of chasing women and getting chased....mucho pedo.......It gets old.......and it's funny how you mention that most of your homies are married and can't get out anymore.........

My old lady and I went out to a club a while back and ran into this buddy of mine (a few years older than me) from back in the day and he was sitting their chasing the young 20 year olds.......needles to say he looked pretty ridiculous......and most of those young girls kind of looked at him the same way.......

Most of the people my age hang out at the older clubs and bars and look pretty run down themselves and look like a bunch of retread..........

Nothing against you bro but that's what my neighborhood looks like.
 
Im 32 and I don that problem. But then again I feel 18 and look 18 :heee I have alot of years to go.

ive sceen all the same guys you sceen at the club. i agree with you it looks absurd lol. they really do. and prob the young girls look at them like idiots. but i think that unless i was in the ultimate relationship. like where i was with some one that i really liked.

and i mean really liked,,..,

i think their will always still be something always pulling me to the club no matter how old i am. lloll,.

becuase first i love dancing if another girl never talked to me or tuch me again,.,.,.i still love dancing,.,.and still go to the club

and even before i hoooked up. i use to go to dance,.,.,. in grammer school and high school,.,.i love the music. then hoooking up came later.

then after a while i didnt hoook up,.,.,.., like between 27 and 30. and still went.

cuase my first love is dancing second is the music,.,.third is blowing off steam from work week,.,.,

then after an hour i go to work,..,,.and hoook up,..,,.llol,.,.

cuase the women you meet in clubs,.,.,.are really medicore at best.

so no i go there till 30 till 35 if i could cuase i love dancing,.,.,.,.love the club love the music...,.love spending time with my freinds.,.,.,.,before they were married.,.,.,.,.

what i can tell you that your right about rider,.,..

is that i can never go to the club again,..,.,or cant anymore with that intensity,..,., of the guy you saw at club,.., like packing head to hoook up. going through all the paces,..,of hoooking up,.lol,...

fireing up my freinds to go,..like i did in my twenties.,.,,. if i called one them now,.,.,.like that there secrataries would hang up the phone on me,..,.,,.

it was different when these clowns,.,.use to work,.., at stores,.,. or ware houses,.,.,lol,..or dumpy little jobs,..,lol.

but now things have changed.

you can still club at thise age. just a different type of clubbing. its more like personal.

to blow of steam from work dance a bit drink one or two. then go home.

if you hoooked up. ok. but with work and responsibilites,.,.,at this age,..,.,


it's hardly a main focus... as it once use to be.,.,.

and that build up to go out.,.really dosnt exist anymore.,..,

so really now you go out just to meet dance.,,.,. and go home hit the hey,.,

i think you can club like that at this age.

but clubbing like you did when you were 20 where you would call your pal every day of the week to get him phsyched. lol. and youd pack head the hole day cuase you gotta hook up cuase your pals are around lol,.,. and then,.,. calling your freind from work to talk about the chick yuo scored.

obviously that type of clubbing,...,.,.,.,lllolll,.,.., is a far dream at 30 llllllollll.,,.,.,.,..,

but its still possible to go,..,.,.,in a much more modified way,,..,.,.llloll,.

but i tell you i do miss clubbing in my twenties.

and i didnt even have a cell phone.,..,lloll,. could only imagine clubbing with one. i could of checked for bum numbers on the spot hahaahhahahaahhahah. No i never got a bum one. but could of checked. lol.

and girls are even more loose now than they were 10 yrs ago. so it would have been pure Flesh experience,..,,..,llloll,..

but no times change i cant even dance the hole night cuase my body hurts,.,lol.

and you know if i went out tonight till 5 am. i'd have to eat a full plate at denys. just to stay awake. till 5 am. and if went out 2 nites in a row.,.lol at this age my heart starts flipping out. llol,..

cuase of lack of sleep lack of eating,.., and to much exersize,.lol.

Ill never forget driving back from Coral Gables in miami. coming back from some club. and from soth beach. and on the way back on the palmetto. i feel asleep for 4 seconds.

then it happened to me the next week. then again week later.

I knew right there i was done. after a while had to eat a full plate at denys to keep awake.

but i knew i that point it was like mattingly,.,. or jordan or montana trying to keep playing,.lol.

the gas in the tank just wasnt there anymore so i stooped going. but still think about it.
 
WOW! I totally understand how you feel. I thought it was just me. I lost that whole going out clubbing feeling I think when I was about 25 and for me it was also about the dancing more than anything else. I used to have this dance partner back in the day that I used to roll with. Long blonde haired white girl, beautiful and she danced her a$$ off. I had trouble keeping up with her. Yeah, those were the days. It was never the same after that. It's really sad because you miss the excitment of being out there and all the hype that surrounded that. Why can't we just be young forever....huh....I guess all we have now is the memories of the hot honey's who now probably have 3 or 4 kids and are about the size of a station wagon.

I'm married now with 4 kids and the wife still likes to go out occasionally, but I just don't have the energy for it anymore. What little juice I have left I usually prefer spending it with my boys riding dirtbikes. It's the coolest thing watching your kids do crazy $hit that you could never do. I guess those are the pleasures of growing older.

rider. hey your not suppose to stay out there forever either. at some point you gotta dock the boat. when i dont know llol. its hard for us though we grew up on dance. it's like asking peace nicks who protested agsinst Vietnam in the 60's To now support Bush. I guess they do but i bet you deep down they hate it? they rather be protesting cuase thats them ! lol. the real them before the kids,.,the stocks,. etc,.

so for us who grew up in the 80's who grew up around dance. boy is it tuff.

to give it up cold turkey.

I've never been to the New York or South Florida. I hope to make it out there someday, but out here there really isn't any big club scene. I don't know much about LA but here in San Diego it's just not like that. The clubs here are usually just more like bars where people just go drink and a few people dance but the dance floors are small where you can fit maybe 20 to 30 people at best. I guess it's just not that type of crowd. Which really sucks because I hit my prime when I was in NoCal (82-85) where there were some real clubs. Here in San Diego there are too many white people that can't dance so the clubs are geared more for them......What are you going to do......Their impression of dance music is Britney Spears and the Nsync boys.......nimodo.....The only place out here with big clubs is down south in Tijuana, Mexico. but down there it's a whole other scene. Where it's all about how much MONEY you have and what kind of car you drive and who you know.

This is why it was so easy to get out of the scene, plus San Diego was never a real Latin HipHop/Freestyle type of town. Back in the 80 they were listening to all that Euro shyat. (Thompson Twins, Duran Duran, Depeche Mode). You would figure there would have been some Freestyle/Latin HipHop with all the Mexicans around here but a lot of them can't dance either. The only ones that did listen to that was the Chollos, the Gang Bangers, but they would just listen, drink, cruise the lowriders, blast each other and get locked up.

But you now that's cool that you still have fun clubbing out there, lord knows I would still be out there if I was still having fun, but I would definitely stay on the ride until they ask you to get off.

ive been to san diego,.,.man its beautifull,. really nice,.., and been to that strip there down the main road,.,.never sceen so many bars,.,.lol. but yeah i noticed that the club sceene dosnt exist period. but in a place like that. there so much other stuff that who cares.

but yeah alot of bars. west coast in general is not great club sceene. i cant say you missed that much. hanging out is hanging out anywhere.

but what ya did miss. but not partying in the east coast. is time lines,.,. like no body cares what happens around the country.

but it matters,.,.that such and such played,.,in the bronx,..,in 1988,.. and you missed,.when rap first started,.,. in 87 under the queens bridge,.,i wish everyone could of missed that. would nt be no hip hop today lol.

you missed when judy torezz first played in such and such nyc club. cuase almost everything comes from here,.,

so thats what ya missed. But that you would of had a better time here than there. I used to be a big beliver in that. that in nyc,.,.you have more fun than anywhere.

but it hink poeple have same amount of fun everywhere,..,.

what you can not replace,.,.is the Nyc time line,.,.,,..,.,.this happened in nyc in such and such time,.,.,.

but the rest i think is the same anywhere.

the miami time line is important too the La time line is important too,.,.chicago,.., and texas too,.,.

but nothing is more important than the nyc time line,..,.,cuase 60 percent of anything you listen too watch or wear,.,.

and in those days,.,.id say it was more like 90 percent,.,

so you missed the nyc time line by not being here,.,.,.

was thinking about you man. havent forgotten you for end of this month. were deff getting together. and no way havent back out of club thing at all.

but were gonna get together some time this month. maybe the end.

we gotta find a place that we can go hang. thats clubby but quiet like lounge so we can talk a bit. of course its gotta be a place wheres theres girls so we can hook up.

we gotta be able to chat for like an hour or two. and see first who we can get to help us.,. etc,

we cant even talk club yet.

rem first thing is to see if we can get 10 people or so. then get feel for our schedules,.

then start talking club.

i think by like august?

would be good time to have the club maybe sooner. and im thinking hall. to see how it goes
