Does anybody know this song: 'Just Like The Wind' by Peter Fontaine? Just wondering because I love this song... and yeah i just wanted to see how many peeps know the song. I also heard that it's a single and very hard to find. =D

I have this on 12 inch vinyl. It is a great song with great mixes. It is on high power records and was mixed my tony garcia. so you know its a great song.

Great song by Peter Fontaine. Anything Peter puts out is usually fantastic stuff. I've worked a couple of shows with him and he is one of the best.

It was originally released as a single, later it was released again only this time it was "Just like the Wind" and "The way she looks at Me" on the "B" side .When I first started the online thing I was communicating with Peter Fontaine. I believe he is in Jersey. Anyway I asked him about the whole "NV" thing. His view on it was that he (Peter Fontaine) did what he had to do and the "other NV" Noel Figueroa did his. Generally he had a negative attitude about it as I would too. NV was just a stage name given first to Fontaine and later to Figueroa.Peter Fontaine to me has one of the best sounding voices in Freestyle
The NV (Figueroa) "Some Kind of Love" cd released in 94'
is a must have.Some good tracks are "Can't go On", "I need You", "Some Kind of Love" "It doesn't have to be this Way" and the "Just like the Wind" bonus Beats.

Peter is the coolest before he move to Camdem, NJ he was from my area, then move to NY, then to NJ again (South Jersey). He is the original singer of 2 singles that was consider classic and underground. His first release was back in 90/91 with "The Way She look at me" and then "Just Like The Wind" both on 12" Single seperatly I have 4 Vynils of Each. Last time I saw him was in a Show in Camdem (in fact I have pictures) I did the show with Sonya, Pain, Pure Pleasure & 3rd Degree, I had just release "Nunca". Peter was the host of the show, it was awsome to see him again. I haven't spoken to him since nor seen him. When I release "Nunca", he had sign to Metropolitan Records and had release "You Are An Angel" which followed by another song which right now I can't remember the tittle of the song. Also spoke to him at that time about N.V. and he didn't give me a thought he just said it was wrong. NV could sing as a matter of fact I love "Crystal Waters" and the beside song. I love the album, but I don't like the remake of "Just Like The Wind". This is also the same thing that happen to Rei Summer aka Reinaldo the original Reinaldo. But that is just another story.🙂
