Looking for love in all the wrong places
So many men pass me by, so many faces

They laugh and they smile
And they ask me can we come over for lil awhile

I say yes cuz I'm in need of some company
Just sitting on the couch watching tv while he hugs me

Yea that would be very nice so I say Yes
But why do I brush my hair and change my dress

To impress and seduce them maybe
Or maybe it's to hear the words Wow you look good baby

But then while we're sitting down on that damn comfy couch
He kisses my neck, whispers sweet nothings in my ear, and WOW that
touch

That's when I think to myself that he could be mine
This is what I've been waiting for all this time

So we kiss and dance our sweet symphony
Sweet music is played and we're in our own melody

But then the music stops and he turns over to get dress
And I'm again left with feeling of loneliness

As he walks out the door he turns and says Thanks Babe
You were awesome thanks for that sweet music we made

So I watched him walk out the door and leave
Never to hear from him cuz I let him use me

So I go back to bed thinking is this what love is made of?
All I ever wanted was to be love
