HUGE Johny O fan here! I remember first listening to Fantasy Girl. Then I was like "Oh my! Who is this guy?" That is Johny O, said my peeps years ago. From there, I found myself lonely at nights in my room, because of crushes I had on girls that I wanted so bad, but Johny O stood there with me in my walkman, helping me get it through. I found myself relating to his lyrics, and it's a good thing it help to open my eyes more, as I was so inspired by his songs.
I truly admire this unique and special individual. If you caught my posts a few days at shoutout/everything forum, you'll see that I got my hands on Johny O's third album. I had no idea he made a third album. 😱 But I was infatuated way before that CD with Runaway Love which I own it on cassette (I knock myself in the head for not picking up the CD single! ARGH!).
I also have his other two albums on Cassette. But lord, that song he sings "FREESTYLE" I cannot stop shaking my butt to it! I can picture myself rocking my body to it, and letting go of everything!
I am so happy I own this album, and to the point, of having it insured! LOL!
Lord have mercy if they steal my CDs!
I don't think I be able to be motivated at all.
I love you Johny O, if I see you, I would love to hug you for those times you were there for many of us!

You are all SO RIGHT JohnnyO is an amazing guy! I had the privledge of meeting him twice now and it exceeded my expectations! Not just the show he put on, singing from the bottom of his heart, but how genuinely kind and down to earth he was as a person.
I love ya Johnny *muah* *hugs*, I wish you didn't live so far away!
Enigma you are so cute! Everything you said in your post touched my heart! My daughter used to skate to Johnnys songs and one of her first loves sang "Fantasy Girl" to her while they were skating! And of course all the skaters loved "DreamBoy/DreamGirl"!
It was a dream come true for us when Johnny and Cynthia were reunited onstage this past Sat. night in our town to sing that song! They were unbelievably cute together, and they even sang an AWESOME acappella version of the song!
Have fun at your show Mario, let us know how you liked it!
For just one night at least freestyle kept my mind off of the terrible things that are going on right now. Music HEALS the SOUL! Those Taliban extremists don't allow music for themselves, or the people they are oppressing, maybe thats why they're so violent and unloving! 🙁

I spoke to Johnny O last night and he is comin to the tri-state area next week and he is very anxious for the show in Jersey. Johnny O is here to stay!
