Can anyone tell me why Johnny had to go all the way to Germany for a record label? I have ZYX comps, and I enjoy them, but did he have USA labels that were anxious to sign him? Did he pick ZYX? I'm just curious as to how much support our USA labels/record co's have for a freestyle artist as well known, and as succesful all over the world, as JohnnyO. Whats the inside scoop?

thats what i dont understand, too......and as far as Jack wrote, that zyx will support the Artist over here in Germany.
All i know were some TV Commercials about their Freestyle Vol. Series.
But i never seen or heard that they will support an Artist.

Ok, i just got off the phone with my our good friend, Johnny O. He told me to pass this on:

"The reason why i went to ZYX is because I was familiar with them. I have had my music on thier lable before and I feel safe with them. But the reason why Im in ZYX in Europe now is because they love music and they will support the artist 110%, even if you arent doing well. The USA lables are all in it for the money (sales) first. ZYX cares about the artist first. Many groups started in Europe first then blew up in America."

Johnny O says his album should be released in AMERICA in AUGUST.

There are no commercials for Freestyle over here! Not even K-Tel records LOL
So right there you got more support over there tha you do over here

Zyx cares about the Artist first and Support them 110 %...believe it or not....
They will make the money first is my opinion.
I always wrote when it is about zyx....we over here dont like the Freestyle Vol. Series....and they made Tv Commercials cause they dont sell so much over here. And the last Commercial i have seen here is arround 2 Years ago. As i wrote also, that they dont support any of the German Artist by themself. I never see or heard something like this.

ZYX Records love and cares for their artists, case in point...most Freestyle artist have no video many in Europe do have videos. And in my opinion ZYX Records has show love and care too me! Yes they care if the Artist make them money don't get me wrong!...but if we look at other labels around the world ZYX cares.

The single comes out end of next month April or begining of May in Europe then the album drops at the end of June in Europe, Now for America, What ZYX wants is what I want to come to America with a hit song that went gold or platinum in this way we will impact the America Market...that sterotype me for years. My fans and close Friends in the Industry support me in the direction that I'm going in Dance/Pop but I can never forget where I came from and that is Freestyle. But I need to show this industry in America that johnnyO can sing and I am a true Artist capable of being successful in other Markets.

This Album will show many industry people that I am a true Artist. And with the support of my Fans and Friends in this industry we are going to the Grammys. Yes GRAMMYS!!!!!!!!!!! That is one of my dreams. Many Industry people have already heard my album and have commented that johnny this album is going to change many opinions on you to pure postive and amazement. And this is their opinion! And my opinion is that this is my Master piece, I feel very confident that this album is going to sell like hot cakes and make an impact in Europe and America, and everywhere!

Please be there for me!!! listen to my album and see what wonderful Art I am presenting to the world. THE RETURN OF JOHNNYO IS AT HAND AND I'M COMING BACK WITH AN IMPACT WATCH OUT AMERICA AND HERE I COME EUROPE!

I love your Music....Your song Fantasy girl and some others arround 88 bring me to the Freestylescene.

Thats was just my Opinion about Zyx and of many others i knew over here.

I wish you the best luck for your Album and I hope everything goes well with the Zyx deal......Cant wait to get my hands on the Album...
